For the month of March, it was "An Unforgettable Dream!" and this is what I managed to come up with.

I don't really know where I went with this one, but it's nice to finally be able to express myself in this way again, and to get back into the spirit of writing - it's just been so long (a year or so) that I'm just glad to be able to write again. On another note, this is actually really short compared to what I would normally write (and what I would normally settle for/be content with), but I guess it's the words that are left unsaid that build up the most tension. I personally think I could've done a bit more with the description/detail, as well... If I do think of anything to add, I'll probably just edit it in later on.

Also, I know how some would probably interpret the theme as dreams like daydreams or the kind you experience when you're asleep, but I kinda decided to choose a different perspective on this one.

I'm still debating whether or not to post this in the Writer's Workshop, nevertheless, I hope you can appreciate what I've written! ^_^ Comments and criticism are always welcome!

Forever A Dream

Every time I hear your name, my head whips around, as if on instinct. Every time I see you, I can't look away but I have to. Every time my mind drifts to anything about you, my heart clenches, twisting even more than what is good for me. Because you're that goal I could never achieve; you're that star that was just too high for me to ever reach; you're that dream that remained exactly as it was, never ever turning into a reality.

You were the dream who told me that it was okay to keep aspiring for marvelous things, even if it would reach the point that it would hurt so much. You were the dream I would always chase, allowing me to develop the perseverance and determination within me to keep on striving, to keep on going. You were the dream that once I got close to, you would just slip away again; just like the visions during the night when I lay asleep - I can never remember them fully when I wake, and when I try to piece them together and come close to solving the puzzle, they only fall apart even more.

You were the dream who taught me how to dream - how to hope, how to believe.

You taught me that it didn't matter if I stumbled on the way, or if I was forced to endure multitudes of pain - what was really important was that I finished, was that I would be able to come out on top. It didn't matter if I lost, as long as I hadn't quit and I had given it my all. It didn't matter if I was going slowly, for at least, I was getting there, inch by inch. You believed in me, believed that I had the potential to do what I waned to do, despite me being doubtful of my own self. You saw what I was hiding deep down inside of me; you saw qualities that even I didn't know I possessed.

But, you, yourself, are still a dream to me. You're still untouchable, unreachable - but, most of all, unforgettable. Ironic isn't it - how you've inspired me to turn all my other dreams into a reality, but you... You, I couldn't - I couldn't do it, no matter how much I much hoped, and prayed, and strived, and believed. And I've tried to push you out of my head and heart, but you have that something that sticks, a part of you that I can never really erase, can never really let go of.

"I never had a dream come true, 'til the day that I found you... Even though I pretend that I've moved on, you'll always be my baby. I never found the words to say, you're the one I think about each day, and I know no matter where life takes me to, a part of me will always be with you..."

I'm not quite sure if anyone has heard of this EP, or any of the songs in it, much less the artist. Are any of you familiar with American singer, songwriter, and pianist Greyson Chance? No? If not, well, that's okay - this blog post talks about him, more specifically about his latest work: his EP, Truth Be Told Part 1 (which means his sophomore album is Truth Be Told Part 2).

Yes, I did say "sophomore album." His debut album, Hold On 'Til The Night, was released August 2, 2011 when he was just 14. So, his new EP of his is pretty good - he's finally found his own style, which is just great.

One thing that makes me like his compositions is the meaningful lyrics. All of his songs have deep messages hidden in them - some emotional, some inspirational, but they're all beautiful in general. On top of that, his voice is powerful and just as meaningful. The emotion he puts into the vocals complements the song further. You could hear the effort he puts into his voice; he performs whole-heartedly, giving out his best, pouring out his emotion.

Truth Be Told has these songs: Sunshine and City Lights, You Might Be The One, Leila, California Sky, and Take My Heart. They're all well-written songs, brilliantly crafted. In fact, Michael Warren co-wrote two of the songs - You Might Be The One and Take My Heart.

My favorite from the EP is Take My Heart. It is a song that I can relate to, and the meaning the song has is very sweet and loving. It talks about pouring out all your love for one person, even if you do not have "enough" money. Money isn't everything, basically.

Here's a lyric video of the song. Take a listen if you've got the time :>
So the title basically explains it all. After, uhm, disappearing from BMGf for a couple of months, I'm back to doing what I used to do (that is, URPGing, RPing, and Mafia..) I didn't forget about this forum and all the amazing friends I made here, so I never really said "goodbye" xD

Nice to see that BMG (and the URPG as well) has some new features and changes, and has grown quite a bit since I last visited.

Hope to have a wonderful time here again ^^

Til my next blog entry,
