First off, the Platinum move tutors. Wow, immediately after the Garchomp ban, it has been revealed that Salamence gets Outrage. Besides the fact Dragonite has been cheated out of its combo, this just makes Salamence even more dangerous. Two powerful STAB Dragon moves on both sides of the attacking spectrum? Wow.

For examples actually relevant to Pokemon I would actually use (a.k.a. not over-overused to the point of not being fun anymore), Kingdra also gets the benefit of taking advantage of DD Outrage, Breloom gets Thunderpunch, Lapras gets Aqua Tail and Outrage, and Crobat gets Heat Wave. Other interesting improvements include Absol and Honchkrow getting Superpower, and Trick becoming a Move Tutor (now let the fun begin). One of the most interesting examples, though, is Scizor getting Bullet Punch. With Technician, that means Scizor has a 90 power priority move running on 130 Base Attack stat, making it one of the strongest priority attack in the game. Well, it's time for me to get a Scyther and Metal Coat, then.

Check Serebii for full details on the great game-changing Move Tutors. Terrible (as in badass), yes, but great.

Now regarding the anime, I have some tragic news. Pachirisu is going to die. *clears throat* "NO! Pachirisu, you can't die! If you did, 4Kids would censor it!" (yes, I know 4Kids no longer owns the anime, but I wanted to throw in a Yugioh Abridged reference for the heck of it)

Seriously, though, what makes people think that they would kill of Pachirisu? At worst, it's going to end up going to someone else, which would still be tragic, as after episodes of being shafted, Pachirisu deserves better, even if its stats do suck.

Gamefreak likes to fuck with Dragonite :'(

Atleast that means I get more cool points for using him and winning.

But seriosuly, Dragonite's main issue was that he had a base 80 speed. Now Salamence, with equal attack has a base 100 speed and outrage. Let's not forget he can Roost aswell and thanks to Intimidate, can also switch in better than its jolly predecessor. I can jsut see it now, a moveset akin to Chain Chomp. Dragon Dance/Outrage/Draco Meteor/Fire Blast. Atleast Heatran can resist.

Wait so Garchomp is offically banned now and not jsut on the test aldder?

Oh gosh, there's a Magnet Rise Luxray and Curse Bibarrel ._.

Can you imagine what kind of walling tht thing will do?

Turns out Dragonite gets Super Power too. Only if it had higher speed mixnite would be cooler, but take that Blissey! (who would never switch in on it anyway)

I'm sure that Lapras will turn OU with that Outrage. Also Dive is a move tutor as well, the water version of dig.

Ludicolo should be able to learn dive again, which is uber pwnage in double battles

Also Lapras isn't turning OU just because it has Outrage. STAB Waterfall does as much damage as a non-stab outrage with the added bonus of not being locked into it or getting confused. Oh yeah, and Flinch rate it has.

The only Pokemon who would gain a significant advantage from Outrage are dragons. Any Pokemon with even a base 70 STAB move would prefer to use it over Outrage. I mean even Kingdra's kind of laughing at Dragonite until it remembers the wide movepool Dragonite has.

I forgot to add Shaymin's Sky Forme to the discussion.

Poor Sceptile. Game Freak just had to shaft you by making a Pokemon that can do what you can do with better stats. And I thought Dragonite had it bad. At least you still have your type purity to fall back on, and there is a fair chance Sky Forme Shaymin will become Uber thanks to 60% Flinchax coming off 127 base speed.

Sky Forme is going to be uber. A base 120 SAtk with Seed Flare having an 80% chance of a special defense drop. Don't get too hung up on super flinch. It has other hax powers aswell.

I'd like to bring up what a load of horseshit it is that Booster and Entei STILL don't get Flare Blitz. Lava Plume? Oh, I'm sure Booster really needed that. -_- Not that I'm particularly fond of these Pokemon, but I can't ignore that they're one of few Pokemon nowadays who actually don't get a decent STAB which complements their better stats (even though there's a move that would make perfect sense for them to have)... and if anyone brings it up, Fire Fang is crap. From what I hear, it does less damage than Flamethrower, even though their Special Attack is weaker... it doesn't help that the elemental fangs in general have an imperfect accuracy for a low power output.

I recently saw someone on 2chan suggest that the reason Booster and Entei don't get Flare Blitz is because their counterparts, Raikou and Thunders, would have to get Volt Tackle in order for their learnsets to synchronize, but since Game Freaks insists on making Volt Tackle exclusive so the Pikachu line can have something to boast about, that can't happen. The theory's not without merrit, but if it is true, it's only sadder because Thunders and Raikou don't even need Volt Tackle (due to their shitty physical attack), but because they can't get it, Pokemon in desperate need of a stronger physical STAB have to suffer.

Just as a further kick in the groin, it seems they've got Ouban and Denji teaming up at the Battle Frontier just to tease us... every Pokemon they use in the Double Battle is one that could sensibly get either Volt Tackle or Flare Blitz, but don't (with the exception of Booburn, which already gets it as an egg move).

I just thought the reason they're shafting Flareon is because all of the eeveelutions are supposed to be "special" oriented. Of course that theory goes down the drain when you see Leafeon with Swords Dance and Leaf Blade.
