Interested enough to ask about it, too hesitant to search it up.

I've heard about Sonichu at least ten times now, both in this forum and outside of it. I feel like I'm missing something that I should know about.

I currently know it's some sort of badfic, that it's a Sonic and Pokemon crossover, that there's a character called "Yawning Squirtle", and that there is supposed to be some deeply disturbing things about it.

Other than that, I'm completely clueless. Curious, but clueless.

So here I am, asking for some help on properly describing this particular series to me. Would anyone do me that favor before curiosity overtakes me and I potentially go out to read it myself?

    Okay, it looks like the job falls to me.

    Sonichu is a fan-made Pokemon/Sonic crossover comic series, pages being found online. The story is infamous for its bad art, unoriginal ideas, bizarre stories, the self-insertion of real people (such as the dean of a college the author disliked, or a girl the author loved), homophobia, sexism, warped morals, and the author's blatant wish-fulfillment.

    The comic wouldn't be so notable if not for the author. His life, to put it simply, is too wild to believe. It's....it's like an art house film.

    To continue, the author is the infamous "Chris Chan", a, as he puts it, a "highly functioning autistic" who is on his "Love Quest" to find a "heart sweet" he can "build from the ground up." And that's just his Love Quest. I could go on for hours about Chris Chan, but I won't. He's a giant cross-dressing man-child who drank his own splooge this one time.

    To be fair though, as much as Chris-chan is a weirdo, the main people who troll him are literally worse...sure, he brings some of it on himself, but he started to fade for a bit, but some people basically stalked his PlayStation account in order to see when he was online and everything. Very creepy, imo.
