The Best of Pokémon

While looking for Pikachu's Best TCG Art, for Best Designed Pokémon, I found this:

My dream starts out with my friends telling me that I have to join a fraternity, because not doing so was unusual. So I go to the nearest one, Kappa Gamma Delta (imaginary) and knock on the door. Dozens of guys are walking around inside (among them, a guy who's in a class I have one day a week at my real college, who I've never talked to), and I ask how do I join. Three guys stare at me while the rest of them are bustling about. I ask them again. After a full 10 seconds, one says "Over here.'' ...

43. Oddish



Form: 3. Though Oddish is very cute, its body is just too simple to warrant a respectable score. The body is plain, round, not detailed, and has the simplest feet and face. The leaves save Oddish from an even worse score, but just barely.
Color: 4. I like the Pokédex entries stating how it wanders under the moonlight. I could imagine these dark blue creatures with shiny, waving leaves ...

Sigh. Best Sprites of Each Pokémon seems to keep troubling me. ALL the sprites I used from Arkeis and dialgafans (The Spriter's Resource Project) broke, so I have to find them over again. Luckily, I have. One of my other sources, armaina.com/pokemon, is still working, but they don't have ALL the sprites. I've found another which has all the sprites I need is sprites.pokecheck.org, but all of them have a lower framerate than armaina. I'll sort through them and fix them all.

P.S. It is ...

Someone at static.zerochan.net created this large image of the first 646 Pokémon. Why they didn't also do Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect, I don't know, but it's still great. Who knows how long this took to make? Each one looks well-thought-out and detailed. Some ones say short phrases in Japanese, others do a cute or tough-looking pose, but they all show that the artist really did a good job.
