BDP: Nidoran♀ - Nidoqueen

Form: 7. For a first-stage Pokémon, it is remarkably detailed. Adorning its small, basic, rabbit-like frame are a row of spines on its back, a small horn on its head, spiky fringes on its jagged ears, and long, erect whiskers. All make it look more threatening. Its face, eyes, and entire lower body are rather plain, however.
Color: 6. A gentle blue with darker spots and blue-greenish inner ears. It suits it, but is rather plain.
Originality: 8. All the aforementioned features excellently cover for its plain underside. It's some kind of rabbit/mouse/hamster/porcupine hybrid, one that holds up as both cute and dangerous.

Form: 8. Nidoran♀'s most prominent features were its spikes, while Nidorina's is her head. That face has much character. The stocky limbs and barrel body show that Nidorina is serious business. The four spikes add to its score, but some unsightly bodily bulges subtract. The lack of a horn is notable.
Color: 5. It's virtually the same color as Nidoran♀, other than the slightly lighter belly. It doesn't suit Nidorina at all. The spots, inner ears, and fierce red eyes balance it out.
Originality: 8. What I love most about the Nidos is the drastic differences you see among all 6 of them. Nidorina has a style all her own, one so unique that you can't even tell what sort of animal she is.

Form: 7. Oh, Nidoqueen. Clearly, the evolution from a small quadruped to a massive biped was a good idea. The armor-plated limbs look pretty good, complimented by a long row of tall spines on its back. But... breasts. Why? Also, the face just doesn't have the same moxie as Nidorina's.
Color: 5. Yikes... Dull grey-blue and tan? They don't work well. Alas, a new color does contribute something. The grey works better for its armor, I guess.
Originality: 8. Nidoqueen, like Nidoking and Nidorina, is of indeterminable origin. The most iconic features are the bikini-like patches of its belly. The limbs' bulky segments are something new, and the row of spines along its back and down its thick tail do give Nidoqueen a new body style. Other than that, nothing much is happening.
