Haven't blogged for over two months, so why not.

Recently my dad met some of his foreign friends, among them a professor in Netherlands. This professor gave my father a tin of commercial stroopwafels.


That light green is the color of my 16 year old desk, just saying.

My parents don't like sweets, so they gave these to me.

So I tried one. They taste pretty good. I expected the taste to be like those commercial coffee flavored crackers, and while these do share the similar taste (due to brown sugar?), they have a syrup filling in them. Also I expected them to be hard in texture but these 'syrup waffles' are soft :3

A mention, to thank @Mijzelffan; for answering my question on what these are called. I couldn't find the word 'stroopwafel' anywhere on the tin. XD
