  5. Pokemon Showdown?

    I've heard lots of good things about this application. From what I know, it allows a trainer to build a team without having to gamble with the RNG and allows them to test their strategies in simulations very similar to actual competitive battles. Moreover, it can be used on a computer, so I could test some strategy while I'm at school without my 3DS attracting unneeded attention.

    As far as I can tell, I don't see any reason to not get it. Are there any catches, as far as y'all know? ...
