What's with my little pony????

All over the internet I see grown adults obsessing over some new version of My Little Pony. Frankly, I'm creeped out and curious. Why the heck do you guys love this baby's show so much? It's for toddlers? Is it a joke? Do you guys actually enjoy the program? If you do you have very long attention spans, that of a one year old. So yeah what's with the huge fandom about a pink pony for five year old little girls??? It's like if everyone randomly became obsessed with Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, or something???? I really don't get it....O_o

Long story short: It's made for little girls and for their parents to watch with them.

Using a Warner Bros-esque style to appeal to everyone, which naturally attracts all animation fans regardless if they have kids or not.

It's like Pokémon: for many kids Gen. V is what Gen. I was for us.

I watched and I still lead the anti-pony resistance. I guess my tastes make me immune or something. I tend to dislike no-plot shows. Plus of ponies, Sith Lords are no fans.

I was curious about it too...how many people here on the forums loved it so much, I saw one episode of it and I immediately saw why. It's animation and character designs are adorable and the humor is great too even if I am 17 I watch this show every Saturday at 8:30 before Black and White XD
