I was only four when the World Trade Center was attacked. Though, I still am sickened when hearing about it. I just can't understand how Al Queda could really hate our country's culture and our country itself so much, that they were willing to die to kill us. It's disgusting. I can't put into words how much sympathy I have for those who lost loved ones on this horrific day a decade ago. I'll pray for them. I'm glad that they are not just creating a memorial on Ground Zero but, also rebuilding the towers. If they didn't rebuild the towers, then I'd feel unsatisfied. We have to show those bastards that they can't take our towers down, we'll put them right the hell back up, damn it. And if they rebuilt them directly on Ground Zer0 that would just be disrespectful to the casualties and their families. So, I think a very wise decision was made by putting the memorial on Ground Zero and rebuilding the towers elsewhere in New York. It's astounding, the amount of patriotism brought out upon this tragedy, bringing Americans together, Democrat and Republican alike. Gone but, never forgotten, God bless America.

...actually, in reality, the people that attacked us didn't themselves hate the country. They were specifically trained, made goodbye tapes and wrote wills to create a psychological point of no return, and were surrounded by reasons the US was evil their whole lives.

I don't mean to sound like a prick, but I just want to clear up the misunderstanding. They're not rebuilding the WTC. They're putting four new office towers; nothing like the original Twin Towers. But I can see why you and others are saying "rebuilding".

I know they aren't rebuilding the exact Twin Towers but, it will be the WTC, just not the Twin Towers, WTC, it will be the Freedom Tower WTC :) Thanks for helping clearing up my confusing dialogue :)
