Well, one terrible thing ends, another must begin.

For the record, I will before posting the rest of this rant express that I fully respect the views of anyone who may or may not take offense to my writings, and that I mean for this to cause no disharmony or resentful feelings. I've just come back from an unreasonably long ban, and things like that just put a man's head through a gutter and then right back out, so I just feel I need my chance to vent. Again, remember that nobody forced you to view this and beyond the slight warning posted on top I don't associate myself with any hard feelings that may result from reading this blog. If you get offended by things that appear to disarrogate your views to you, be assured that I never forced you at any point to read the rest of this passage. In that regard, I've removed the last paragraph of this brief ranting (despite it being normally crucial) and put the rest in spoiler tags. Again remember, nobody forced you to open it.
[SPOILER]I probably couldn't get any sicker of all these seriously oversensitive people claiming every other time they hear the word "gay" it means the apocalypse. Next to nobody using words like homo or faggot actually mean it to demean and discriminate homosexuals; they’re moreso cracking an everyday joke in the average teen or young adult's casual conversation. A notion (or fact) that just seems to never reach these people, who when put in the most remote position of power won't hesitate to resort to harsh punishments, such as bans ranging from a couple of days to a full four months long for every 3-letter word with the word G on front, for cryin’ out loud. If we're doing a word hunt, the word "fuck" carries with it the action of fornicating with a woman who possibly hasn't even given you consent, shit is the profane version of "crap," a word almost banned in children's cartoon programming blocks, and "bitch" degrades the woman (or man) to the level of a female animal; not one of which seems to invoke even close to the same response in said people. Are we all responsible for "putting their feelings in much jeopardy" every time said words are used in colloquial conversations when we don't even have them in mind, let alone target their fragile egos because theirs is all that matters this day and age? I could easily point out the inverse and ask if they're responsible for filling all those disgusted Christian anti-homosexuals with contempt each time they see two guys stroking their hair or embracing or whatever the heck because they have a low tolerance for such acts- the same way the pro-homos and homosexuals have grown to have for said "slurs." But we know and have the fortitude in us to see that that's just as uncalled for as what they're doing: essentially oppressing the hell out of casual, un-partisan people to satisfy their need for the destruction of all that is "homophobic” to them. Yeah, brings real closure.
Needless to say, that is some nonsense right there, but it's even worse that it’s because of their need for protection of these ridiculously breakable glass hearts of theirs and their unwarranted barrage of unreasonable complaints that slurs like "bastard," a word that was originally meant to derogatorily refer to a fatherless child born out of marriage are allowed on network television whereas simply the word "gay" or "homo" apparently are foul beyond words now. If I have to put up with this kind of stuff every five minutes that someone with the tolerance no amounts of "overly timid" can convey comes up me with this stupidity, I swear taking me back to middle school, where there was a girl in my class who'd shriek every time she heard the word "woman" at the end of a sentence (that never implied the involvement of sandwiches, mind you) and claim she's heard the most sexist 10 words ever, would be the lesser punishment.
