Blac Aderr II

I realize that coming up with similes for life is a dreadfully pretentious, unavoidably clichéd, and melodramatic activity, but I think I've finally come up with one that works:
Life is like a game of Solitaire. You almost always fail, you never know what you're really doing, and even the most insignificant moves can end up drastically altering where you end up.
Thoughts?

At least say it's better than my old one: "Life is like a piece of cardboard. It gets soggy if you put it in a bowl of tomato soup." :p
