Bulbagarden: One Year Later

So, exactly one year ago, I joined Bulbagarden. I had already been a lurker (and user of Bulbapedia) for some time, and, being a narcissist who loves spouting inane opinions at anyone who stands still long enough, I decided to join *dramatic music* my first real forum. I had had a short, ill-advised stint as a YouTube commenter before that (I wasn't a troll, although everyone probably thought I was), but that was the closest it ever got. I wanted real discussions, rules to obey. More importantly, I wanted a place to talk about something that had been a fixture of my childhood (because talking about Charizard's iconography with your little brother gets old after a while). And since my experiences with Bulbapedia had been so good, I decided to take the plunge here.
One year and an ongoing provisional modship later, I think my first foray has gone swimmingly well.
In that time, I've posted (and occasionally received Warnings) here, started/planned six fanfics (the Writer's Workshop does that to you), worked up the courage to contact Digimon Uncensored (PLEASE check this site out if you're a fan) and start working with it, and done plenty of other things that are probably more important in the long run. But who cares about the long run? That's a long time from now. I'm a here and now kinda guy. And here and now is looking pretty good.
