One day, Iteru was wandering aimlessly in the anime section, when he saw her... CommanderPigg.



He was breathtaken by her yaoi fanigrl ways and her funny fanart.



At first, he was shy and didn't how to approach her.



But he finally overcame his inner fears to let her know how he'd felt all along...



"Come with me," said Iteru, "We'll be forever happy here in the Anime Section."

CommanderPigg hesitated. She didn't know what to say.



"Why won't you love me?" cried out Iteru in despair.



"We don't even know each other that well," said Pigg.



"I'll take my shirt off to seduce you!" said Iteru. "We're soul mates!" replied Iteru. "What do you want to know about me? I'll tell you everything and I want to know everything about you!"

Pigg and Iteru talked to each other, told each other their deepest secrets, their fears, their doubts, their most hidden thoughts. They laid their soul bare for each other. Iteru wept as he heard Pigg's secret heartaches.



And at last, they saw each other as kindred spirits, two souls that were really halves of a common whole. Their love shone brighter than all the stars in the sky. It shone so bright, that it blinded all who saw it, burning their retinas with its brilliance. After seeing their love, not a soul could ever see anything else ever again without being reminded of how it paled in comparaison to their love.

This glorious post was made by @Wolverine in the "Bulbagarden Idol 2.0 (Round 4)" thread where Piggy dedicated her love song to Iteru. It was with this hint the ship became canon and is what it is today. :)

With this glorious revelation, I immediately created a social group to celebrate the beautiful new ship - CuteAnimeModShipping - Iteru x CommanderPigg

Currently, it needs a new name since Miss Piggy is no longer a mod. It's up in the air between FandomBicycleShipping and PiggRiverShipping. I'm a fan of the former because of how hilariously true it is (both Iteru and Pigg are shipped like crazy), but I also like the latter because according to Wikipedia, Pigg River is real. >.>

So users, please help us find a new name for the preciousness that is Iteru x Piggy, for their sake who am I kidding and for the shippers'. :>
