appealshipping- yeah zoey's a butch and dawn & zoey are good friends, but they should just stay friends. anyway i'm not into slash and the only dawn slash shipping i like is a crossover one(Amu/Dawn).

contestshipping- i know drew likes may but she desrves better than drew. drew treats her badly.I'd tolerate this shipping more if may was also mean to drew back but she isn't. i prefer two-side love/hate over one-sided love/hate, and this ship is one-sided love/hate.

egoshipping- i find this ship a funny crack shipping

ikarishipping- i can't see "opposites attract" working here.

negaishipping- this shipping is soo cute. it's funny that she follows ash because she thinks he's cute, and he's growing to like her too.

orangeshipping- this shipping is cute. This ship is one of the few cases where i can see opposites attracting. his calm, kind, and quiet personality compliments her stubborn, aggressive annd bold personality.

palletshipping- gary and ash are good friends and should stay that. anyway ash isn't gay or bi. he's either straight or asexual.

penguinshipping- i find this ship boring and i don't support most pairngs except for drew/dawn, khoury/dawn, and amu/dawn.

pearlshipping- she's waay to girly and annoying for ash. anyway in my opinion all the hints listed on it's bulbapedia page aren't really hints anyway(i don't find most of the hints listed al the pages combined shippy except for a few) also i hate dawn, so i don't think she deserves ash.

pokeshipping- ash and misty are like brother and sister. they are best friends, and in their case being a couple would be weird.Sometimes best friends should become couples. they should just stay good friends.

rocketshipping-i hate jesse and james but they deserve each other no one else.

i prefer two-sided lovehate relationships.

reason 3:mosty and ash never messed with each other's emotions. if you the reader like me, doesn't support contestshipping, tell me if i'm missing information that could be added to this to make my arguemnt stronger

Was there ever a shipping that was really popular that you didn't support and found overrated? Well I have, one of the popular ships ine thevarious tv shows and movies I like, is contestshipping. There's sevral reason's why I don't support them. 'Cotntestshipping' interfering with 'my precious' advanceshipping is not one of them.

I know that there's several hints for contestshipping, and I'm not going to deny any of them being valid, but in most of those 'moments' Drew was flirting with her and yet insulting her at the same time. That's not how a guy is supposed to treat a girl.I'm going to list my reasons in bullet points.

• Now That's Flower Power!
  This is the first episode with Drew in it. He starts insulting May without getting to know her first.Also Drew is ogling, which is inappropriate for a 10 year old to do.
  
• Win, Lose or Drew!
  Strangely even though He critized her, he gave her a rose. May never having someone give her flowers before blushes. but Drew wants to hide that he likes her and has the nerve to say "it's for you beautifly, not you May!" eesh! why did he have to be so rude? Couldn't of he at least apologzed for his rudness to her earlier.
  
• Pros and Con Artists!
  He again insults her, then next gives her roses, and of course claims they're for her Beautifly again! How pathetic!
  
• Come What May!
  the insults-roses cycle happens again the 3rd time. May gets tired of this and questions him about and got him to indirectly admit it wasn't for her beautifly.May starts getting annoyed with him.
  
• Who, What, When, Where, Wynaut?
  In this episode tension between them has decreased a little but in this episode it's hinted that drew was stalking May. Stalking is so unromantic, it's creepy. Drew reminds of of a certain 'sparkling vampire'. Ahem! no offence twilighters.
  
• On Cloud Arcanine
  Drew pisses off May once again.He also does this in other episode but i'm too lazy to list those other ones right now.
  

As you can see I find Drew emotionally abusive towards May. I'm glad this ship didn't become canon. I was afraid it would since Drew was starting to appear sucessful with play with May's emotions by switching back and forth from lvoing her to hating her.

I'm personally not a fan of these types of relationships. anyway what's so great about emotional abuse. Some of you guys may be thinking, "you're just saying this isnce you don't like love-hate relationships in genral". well first of all, not all love-hate relationships contain emotional abuse. One love/hate ship with no emotional abuse, that i can think of right off the bat is ash/misty. Secondly, There is love/hate relationships i support but they aren't in pokemon though

I know some people ship this couple just to get May out of the way for the ash ship they support,but why ship her with drew out of all chracters in pokemon.there's other guys to pair may with.there's also other girls to pair drew up with. if you're into slash you could even pair may or drew with someone the same gender as them.
