So, here we go:

1. The Entertainer- KT Tunstall
- What a beautiful song. The chorus stays in your head forever, and the melody just floats in the air just as long. Extra points for the instrumental bridge.
2. White Diamonds- Friendly Fires
- A very dancible tune, great chorus. There's even some cowbell.
3. Paul McCartney- Scissor Sisters
- Fast paced, modern disco-pop. What more could you want? Oh yeah, and it's called Paul McCartney. Paul freakin' McCartney.
4. Please Speak Well Of Me- The Weepies
- A beautiful, simple song with some lovely harmonies. Here's a video.
5. Fembot- Robyn
- This is good pop music. Fun and brash, this song has everything: a great beat, a killer chorus, and some extremely memorable lines.
6. Love of an Orchestra- Noah and the Whale
- Simple yet touching lyrics coupled with some wonderful melodies. Too bad it's so short. Here's the video, which is the cutest thing ever. So watch it. Anyway, today was, uh, interesting. 5th period was spent talking about how our teacher has lost so many friends to cancer (very sad) and about him serving in the military. We literally spent the entire period talking instead of working on the Power Point he prepared. Never a dull moment in Earth Space class.
