I think that today, I will just post a piece of my mind on the team I am planning to use in Pokemon White, like some others did. If I were to play White, I think this would be the ideal team, and each member were chosen for a reason, so if you want to know why I choose this member, read on.

Serperior

I am going to name this one Serpifoo, because the first name that comes to mind is Snivy's German name.

The starter, obviously. I wanted to go for a stalling approach for this team, and I think Serperior's the best at that. With that, Leech Seed's the move of choice. Hopefully it gets a neutral or positive Attack nature, because I want to get two Physical moves on this snake: Leaf Blade and Dragon Tail. Why? Because of the exclusive move Coil, so the accuracy boost is awesome for Dragon Tail. However, Dragon Tail is only obtained late game, so I have to make do with other moves in the meantime. Aerial Ace sounds like a good choice before the Dragon Gym, because if offers some decent coverage.

Darmanitan

This one...I will name him/her Dharmape, which is my prediction for Darmanitan's English name.

I chose Darmanitan because I think a heavy hitter is necessary to get out of a tight spot, considering how great these type of Pokemon are in-game. Darumaka is, however, a gamble to use considering Hustle's accuracy drop, but I may have to make do with that before evolution. Because of Darmanitan's sheer power and Fire attacks, this seems like an ideal choice. Fire attacks I feel are important because Steel-types are especially not that fun to face. He/she will also have two coverage moves because he/she has good Speed and great Attack, so the attacks I am going to use are Hammer Arm and Earthquake in addition to Flare Blitz. The other move would be Taunt, just in case the opponent likes to use status moves.

Crustle

Like Darmanitan, I will use my past prediction name, and it's Stratacean.

I wasn't considering this Pokemon initially. However, there is one thing that won this decision in the end: Stealth Rock. Dwebble is one of two families that got this awesome move in-game, which I am planning to abuse with Dragon Tail. There is one other significant use of Stealth Rock: Elesa's battle. It seems that Elesa is Volt Switch happy, so by making her Emolgas take damage every time they get in, their lifespan is made limited. Beyond that, Crustle seems like he/she will make a great hard hitter, because of Shell Smash. Not sure which other moves to use, but I am going to use Rock Slide and Earthquake or X-Scissors.

Garbodor

Bargageman is the nickname I will give because the Spoonerism gives off a humourous vibe, not to mention, calling a Pokemon "garbage" might be an insult. Also because it sounds like Barf and Baggage.

Like Crustle, this wasn't my initial choice, but one thing won me in the end: Toxic Spikes. The usefulness of this move shouldn't be underestimated, because there are only three families in Unova that absorb that move, and none of them are used by important people (Burgh did, but he's out of the way before Trubbish is met). Garbodor also acts like a toxic-staller, because I am planning to get Stockpile and Toxic on this thing. I am not sure about the fourth move, though. Acid Spray may be good, but Garbodor's Special Attack is low. Any suggestions?

Reuniclus

Cellular is the name, because it's a cell, and their communication through telepathy is like the cellular phone (or mobile phone for the non-US, or handphone in Malaysia).

The Pokemon that I want to get White for. This one is a very powerful and bulky Pokemon, so it's natural I get it. However it seems that Solosis is rather weak, so I need to get an Eviolite to remedy this. This Pokemon is also basically a Special Attacker, considering my lack of them. With Psyshock and Psychic (and a third attack that I am not sure yet), Reuniclus will be ready to go! The fourth move will be Recover.

Jellicent (female)

She will be henceforth known as Pomp Jelly, because she's like a pompadour, and maybe pompous too. Besides, RoyalJelly is too predictable.

Finally, Jellicent. I love the female more than the male, so I chose the female. The reason it's placed last is that Frillish can only be encountered by Surf, and Surf isn't obtained so early compared to the other members, so this will be my last member. Basically Frillish is another Special Attacker that makes use of the usefulness of Water attacks, and perhaps Will-O-Wisp too. Frillish is also chosen because I always wanted a Ghost on the team (Thank you, whoever who decided to make Frillish and Jellicent a Ghost!). I will give this Pokemon Surf and Shadow Ball, as well as Will-O-Wisp and Recover.

So, thoughts? Is it a good team?

Stall doesn't work in game, maybe late game, but you'll end up doing a lot of grinding.

I didn't say it's all-out stall. Three members are stallers (Serperior, Jellicent and Garbodor), while three are hard hitters (Reuniclus, Crustle and Darmanitan). This makes it seem balanced, in my opinion. Besides, I like the idea of whittling down opponents even in-game, so I made it have an element of stall.

By the by...why doesn't it work?

    Thanks for reading.

It works in the late game, but it will be harder to level them up since they have to be in battles, and fighting wild pokemon will be more difficult with the stall members.

I', going to ditch my starter. Though they are good Pokemon, they really suck as starters. The point of a starter is to provide you with a strong Pokemon early in the game who isn't overly powerful but still is great. Serperior's best trait is available throught the dream world. Almost all other Water types are better than Samurott. Emboar is incredibly slow and has common weaknesses.

I am not sure how almost all Water-types are better than Samurott. Oshawott's a very good Pokemon in-game, from what I heard. From what I understand, it's because of Razor Shell (gotten early), Megahorn (Samurott), and a good range of Physical and Special attacks. Granted, Ice Beam is a post-game TM, but I suppose the versatility is helpful. From what you say, I can see why you think Seismitoad is more useful. You need to go out of your way for a Frillish, Alomomola doesn't seem too offensive-oriented, Panpour is a (very) rare meet if you chose Oshawott...OK, I don't think I am capable of opposing this, so can you tell me what do you mean by "Almost all other Water types are better than Samurott"?

Not sure about Emboar...if you are talking about in-game, does trainers usually use attacks which Emboar is weak to?

    Thanks for reading.

Scrap Taunt. Darmanitan is probably dead in a hit, so the risk of getting attacked in the turn you use taunt is probably not worth it.
