I question some fans' appreciation for real Pokemon

There is something that I feel irritated with. Granted, it's bound to happen, but still, there is something that I am really not happy with. It is the fact that fans prefer fan Pokemon over the real ones in tandem to the current generation. What I mean is that some fans prefer their rendition of "Generation x" Pokemon over the official ones, or even the evolutions of the then-announced Pokemon.
The milder and acceptable cases were the fact the fans gave the opinion that they prefer the fan starters over the official ones, like (those are real comments by the way):
But it's comments like these that really irritate me (again, real comments):"These are so much cuter than the official 5th gen starters."
"These ones are better than the actual 5th gen starters."
"All these evolution interpretations look WAY better than the official evolution"
I really hope they are not being serious here. This is because I feel that this attitude of fans is destroying their appreciation of the real Pokemon, the one that started their interest in Pokemon. In other words, the fans are spoilt by what's beautiful to them, and the non-official ones grew on them first."Oh if only that was real. The last one is so much cooler than what they have." (In regards to a fan evolution of Mijumaru)
"I wish these were the real evolutions of Pokabu- then I'd have to have Pokabu. You bring out the awesome traits in being a hog."
"awww that would've been so cool >.<
and now... they got those lame starters for 5th gen.... tsss.. sucks
I like your starters a whole lot better"
I am not saying Fakemon is bad. It's alright to like Fakemon, just that I would ask those people to also appreciate the real Pokemon also.
Well, that's it. I hope you enjoyed reading the post.
