I periodically go to Gamasutra for some gaming news, but this one link especially caught my eye, so I thought it would be great to share it with the rest of you. Basically, if you are a great designer or someone who likes to design games (and also happens to be a Pokémon fan), you may give this one a shot, because now Game Career Guide is having this challenge, so be sure to come up with something before 2nd of March! I am sure that some fans will like to give this one a shot, because they definitely will have something interesting to suggest! The link here: http://gamecareerguide.com/features/935/game_design_challenge_.php

As for me? I am not sure what to design for the Pokémon franchise that will be great. Maybe I will come up with something in the meantime, but maybe you have some ideas you can post here?

Thanks for reading.

Hmm...like, a formal game design document? I don't know how to do one of those, but I've certainly brainstormed some spin-off games before, including a Tactics-Style RPG and a 2D Plane Fighting Game.

Of course it isn't that complicated! If it were, the deadline will probably be pushed back, and not to mention the prizes have to be better to justify the challenge. Here's an example on what the students did: (Entry 1) (Entry 2)
