Any recommendations anyone has, preferably from here or Fanfiction.net?

Just a few things I'm looking for, though not everything needs to be seen in it

-I'm either looking for a Johto, Sinnoh, or Unova journey. I think those are my favorite regions in the games and the ones I enjoyed the most, though its cool if you have any good Kanto or Hoenn fics you've read and enjoyed.
-Either the journey doesn't follow a games story line or if it does, the story throws its own twists on events and still tries to differentiate from the game's storyline.
-The Pokemon are treated more like actual characters in the story and have their own personalities, as well as stories. I really enjoy it when the Pokemon interact with their trainer and others on the team.
-I'd love to read one where the main character starts with Cyndaquil, Chimchar, or Oshawott. I just feel more interested if those are used(and love it even more if they stay as Quilava, Monferno, or Dewott though its rare)
-Rather than going straight to the Elite Four after beating all eight gyms, the character participates in a league much like the anime.
-Battles in the story are very anime-esque and kinda feel like Hoenn and Sinnoh era battles in the anime.

So what if the Pokemon Anime was written by Mike DiMartino and Brian Konietzko? Okay so in the final mission Three way, after you break up the 3 fights going on between STAG and The Luchadores, you get a call from a fellow Saint, Angle De La Muerte(played by HULK HOGAN!) He tells you the Luchadores leader Killbane is leaving town and you have the chance to kill him. Right in the middle of that call, the second in command of STAG, Kia calls you up telling you STAG is gonna frame the Saints by blowing up a monument and she's kidnapped your lieutenant Shaundi as well as another member Viola DeWynter and BURT FUCKING REYNOLDS!! You have the choice to either kill Killbane, or save Shaundi.

Saving Shaundi has gotta be the most badass and epic moment of the game! You have to rush to the docks to meet another member of the Saints, Kinzie Kensington. While you're rushing to save the three and kill Kia, you have Luchadores and STAG constantly chasing after you and shooting you in their vehicles and just getting in your way. Once you get there and head to the island the monument you have to disarm 8 bombs on the statue by using a Sonic Boom, then go to save Shaundi, Viola, and Burt and kill Kia. The whole time all of this is happening, Holding Out For A Hero is playing in the background which just makes everything feel more epic.

A 5th season has been confirmed!!!! I can't believe it's really gonna happen!!! I checked out Wikipedia and it indeed says that Moonscope has announced a couple months ago that the show will be returning for a 5th season, being 26 episodes!

I've been in several on this board yet hardly any of them have had any success. I just wish someday to get a REALLY good and fun RP going.

Well anyway here are some of my favorites I've been in.

Pimpinwhiteninja's Adventures on Pokearth
This was the most successful RP I was in to this date. It was a Kanto Journey RP that started with multiple users I remember(I think 10), though in the end it came down to 3. I remember in a time span of about 3 months we managed to get all the way to Cerulean City and having each trainer battle Misty before the RP faded out...And in that time period the pacing was actually really good, character interactions were fun, we got some captures and Pokemon devlopment in, and we had some great battles. To this day I still wish that somehow it would be revived and we'd continue off in Cerulean City....

My Johto Saga(s)
I've always been a fan of the Johto region and doing journey RPs there, however I've had to set up multiple Johto Journey/Saga RP's on this board before I actually got one good one. I remember 3/4 started from the Sinnoh Region where we'd be leaving on a boat back to Johto and then while on the boat my villainous trio D-Generation M would attack. The first one only lasted a couple pages and the 2nd lasted a little bit longer. The 3rd one actually reached the point where Miror B and his team attacked, though 2 members disappeared and it just died out...I decided to go for a 4th try only this time I'd start it as everyone would be just getting their starter Pokemon, and I plan on reviving this one since we're about to begin the Violet Gym. I hope I can get that one revived and the others will create their own plots so we're not only dealing with D-Generation M.

Saphire's Eunoko Pokemon Camp
This was actually a pretty fast and fun RP. The Eunoko Pokemon camp was an laid back hang out RP really with no real goals or anything, which I'd really like to do another that could be as successful as one I had in Sega's Boards at one time that lasted months(I believe 6+). I remember in just a month it managed to pass 100 pages and much was done, though only 4 or 5 members stayed with it. I feel if the leader had been there, more stuff could've been plotted out though we did have some good interaction and such as well as developing relationships. I remember we just let it die when it came down to like 3 members....

Bulbagarden Team Plasma Takeover
This as you all know I covered in an earlier blog. I loved the BW release event we had here that pitted The Resistance against Ghetsis and Team Plasma. It was awesome plotting against Team Plasma, fighting for control of boards, and such. I still remember in the final battle against Ghetsis and a follower of his in the RP I was one of the big players, taking down 6 total Pokemon. I'm sure another one of these will occur say if R/S/E gets remakes in like 2 years and the staff sets up like a Team Aqua vs. Team Magma thing.

I went in today to trade in my PSP, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and World at War(Wii). I knew they were having a 10% bonus for trading in 3 games, 25 extra bucks for any hardware traded in, and... Alright why must Gamestop always find reasons not to give someone money. I went in today to trade in my PSP, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and World at War(Wii). I knew they were having a 10% bonus for trading in 3 games, 25 extra bucks for any hardware traded in, and a 50% bonus. Of course I get close to nothing.

So off of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Call of Duty: World at War they would give me like 8 bucks, however they wouldn't take my PSP or Modern Warfare 2.

They wouldn't take Modern Warfare 2 cause they claimed there'd a "chip" in the disk and I know for a fact the game is in working condition, never freezes, and it has no trouble being read. They took Metroid Prime 3 over this game and Metroid Prime 3 is pretty scratched up and it is often unable to be read. So they screwed me out of probably 20 bucks.

Then they wouldn't take my PSP because one of the metal hinges attached to the UMD door wasn't attached and they could easily send it out and have it connected again. The system is in perfect condition for playing and other than the hinge connector there's no other problems. They could easily take it and send it to get fixed, but since they're a bunch of selfish bastards they won't take it so they don't have to pay any money to have it repaired and so they wouldn't have to give me like 25$ bonus and probably 30-50 bucks for the system.

This is why I hate Gamestop. Not that I want a rehash of that episode, but I'd friggen love to see Oshawott gain a crush on this Emolga or another Pokemon sometime. Though we REALLY don't have much of a clue about what will happen in BW 27 since no preview was aired after BW 25, but we do know Oshawott will be in the episode.

Back to Oshawott...Oshawott is just extremely adorable and hilarious, and an episode featuring him falling in love with another Pokemon like Totodile or Corphish did would just be two things.

I enjoy doing RP's and that one certainty met my expectations for a good RP.

Some things I liked about the RP was how it was organized with 1 topic per forum instead of multiple. I also like how the Resistance and Team Plasma would fight for control of the thread and for the most part the battles were often fair and fun(Especially the final battle where I consider myself the MVP of. Not to be egotistical, but I took down like half of the Pokemon used by Team Plasma!) There was often a good fight or two every day of the RP. I also like how we got video messages from Ryuu-whatever-his-name-is, posing as Grimsely! I love the voice acting there! The voice acting for Grimsely was really fitting I thought. I also gotta say on top of that that everyone did a great job playing their role. Everyone was in character, I thought.

I do wish that the conclusion wasn't as rushed, and that whoever played N was able to get on and participate, but that's no biggie! Whoever played him was probably busy with other things. Well back to the rushed conclusion I mean as soon as the Resistance defeated Lord Ghetsis the thread was locked and there was no time for the arrest, N's goodbye and such, and the Resistance's celebration.

Another thing I wish was done, was there were a few more video messages. I thought that voice acting was just spot on for Grimsely, and it would've been nice to have used a couple more to announce events such as calling out Ghetsis for the final battle, and congratulating the Resistance.

And one last thing. I noticed that all the Team Plasma or Resistance threads have been taking down...BUT the one in the RP Start-Up forum hasn't yet....

Overall I thought it was very fun for the Board and it definatley gave me a reason to be on for quite a bit!
