Diaries of a Quadruped

TwigZone's moved to a better place, and so did this blog.

The blog's going to be left as is, as an archive, but no more.

  1. Wanted! I need these Pokémon, stat!

I think I need some help in getting these Pokémon. There are still 4 left, but I can't nature-breed (well). Can anyone be nice enough to help me? (Feel free to take anything from my shop as a reward!)

  5. So I did the first two rival battles in Black/White a few more times...

    And I have this conclusion:
It's rigged to make you win whenever possible.

When your Pokémon gets to sufficiently low health, the opponent will spam status-down moves just to make sure that you keep attacking and win.

Of course, a critical hit from the opponent will still make you lose anyway, but if there's none of them, you are practically guranteed to win as long as you keep attacking.

(Is the AI specifically programmed to do this for the first ...
