My Gamecube overheated this morning. I've had that Gamecube for nine years, and this is the second time it has overheated on me. Here's the story.

I was playing Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom on my Gamecube, on the Rock Bottom Advanced Darkness level. I was jumping around, not really doing what I was supposed to be doing. But right in mid-jump, the screen froze, and there was a very loud sound. Kinda like a beep, but it lasted forever. I turned off my Gamecube quickly, of course, and let it sit.

I'm fairly sure it overheated: That was the 5th time I played it today, and that was at 11am. I had been already playing for about an hour during that 5th time, so I kinda pretty much been playing it kinda constantly for five hours (Does that even make sense?). Plus, it's in a cabinet thing, so it can't get a super sufficent amount of air. THEN, I think there's a load of dust back there.

I wanna go play my Gamecube now, but I'm afraid it'll freeze again, or worse...like, my Memory Card is wiped or something.

IF MY MEMORY CARD IS WIPED, I WILL GO FUCKING BASHIT.
