Two big things happened yesterday. First, GRADUATION! Finally graduated from college, though I'm continuing my education, so it's not a huge life-changing thing yet.
Secondly and more importantly for right now, we had our first foster assigned as part of our internship at the Humane Society. We have no idea what her name is, so help me come up with a nickname, please!
Her background is, she is a homeless dog. Literally, as in her owner is a homeless vet. This little
So it's been a long time since I blogged. In the meantime:
1.) Beaker the bird died of West Nile, after we cared for him for about 6 weeks. He is still very much missed. *sniff*

"Little Fighter" was an "insurance egg"; those who don't know much about birds might find it interesting to know that many species lay their eggs to have one that will hatch later than the others; this is so if the first group dies, there's still

My daughter is now playing Pokemon Indigo, and is having a blast with it. I doubt it will last long though, because it just seems SO easy to not only catch everything, but get shinies and all the other goodies. (Then again,
