So much hatin' between gamers

You know, so I was stalkin' the forums and IGN, and I couldn't help but notice all the hatin' among gamers. RPG gamers hatin' on FPS, FPS hatin' on the RPG'ers. Not to mention the constant shitstorm brewing between the Nintendo and Sony gamers.

When you're in the middle of the "discussion" it seems to significant. Like, 'AW HELL NO. Don't be hating on Kingdom Hearts, Call of Duty is for 30 year old bums!" The accusations are wild, the refutes are vicious and the fan boy/girl -ism is off the freakin' charts. "How dare that person say that Halo is better than Final Fantasy!" It's like he stained your pride or said a really bad "you momma" joke. They have to retaliate hard, and fast.

Then when you turn off the computer and start derpin' on your Wii/PS3/Xbox 360/... You realize how pointless it is. Then again, maybe I'm going too Arstotle here, maybe I need to turn off my brain...

Game arguments really are pointless. Different people have different tastes, and more gamers should accept that.

Most popular games are pretty good, just everyone has their own personal tastes.

That said, Kingdom Hearts is the sweet chicken fried bananas.

Because video games are serious business, and if there's too much of the same genre, there's a high demand for more games from other genres so people who like certain tastes wouldn't dominate everything.

Wow, everyone is waging some brand of war these days. Whether it be armed conflict, intense political discussions, or pointless bickering over video games.
