I'd like all the good tips abouts this method, because, despite everyone I ask say it is way better than RE or SR (except for legendaries), I never had this kind of luck when I really wanted...

Just occured to me that smeargle is perfect, since everyone I know told me this dog painter is ditto's equivalent for egg moves. It's a shame smeargle can't breed with insect groups, which means I'll never have my cross poison/wing attack gligar. Oh, well... T_T

I'm using a clone of my Fire Red smeargle (which is lv. 100) for the job (I never used smeargle for breeding before, so, it was my first time) and I think I have had the same problem as every smeargle user: find the right pokemon, with the right moves and be able to sketch them... AND, MAN, WHAT A PAIN!!! XG

My prime intent was to obtain a riolu with blaze kick/crunch/cross chop and, at the end, I added hi jump kick to the cake. I started the sketch by FR. Find a machoke with cross chop wasn't difficult. But, since the other wild pokemon hadn't crunch, I had to go for a E4 challenge... and Bruno's steelix are the only ones with the move. And make a steel pokemon, in a team with with a bunch of fight pkm, use a certain attack for a normal pokemon wasn't the best experience of my player life. And, I had to migrate it after, to use Maylene's medicham and Riley's lucario to finish the breed... '_'

Well, I got the right moves and the riolu (now, lucario) I wanted, but, I decided to breed for variations at the movesets, another painful task. But, it rewarded me as well, with two more egg moves (that I didn't finish). Well, that's probably won't be the last time I'll use smeargle when I'm in need of a different set of moves, but, after this awful journey, I won't use this man for a good time. In fact, I'm thinking in put it on GTS later, it'll have its latest sketched moves, blaze kick/cross chop/shadow claw/drain punch. But, not now.
