You know what I just realized?

You know those costumes that I put into Generation 2021 - the ones that turn the wearer, basically, into the Pokémon?
There's actually a whole subculture for this kind of stuff - and I just found it a few days ago.
It's called the "TF" subculture, where "TF" stands for "Transformation". Basically, depictions of a human transforming into something else, be it another animal or a Pokémon or even something inanimate, although that last one is very rare. A form of this TF is called the "costume TF", which is where a costume engulfs the human victim, and solidifies over him, turning him into the thing that the costume represents.
And you know what's really scary? I didn't even know about this subculture, and yet my fic depictions of it seem eerily similar to what people of this subculture do.
You know what's even worse? I only stumbled across it by looking for pictures of Dragonair. Innocuous pictures at that. And now I have a TF of the damn thing as my desktop background. It's too cute to resist >w<
(And before you ask why Dragonair, it's because I have an IRC username of Dragonaire.)
