The word "Reshiram" is derived from an old Sumerian-based word, "r-sh-r-m", which means "white light". The "r-m" is a suffix.

Similarly, the word "Zekrom" or "Zekurom" is derived from "z-k-r-m", which means "black light".

Thirdly, the word "Kyurem" or "Kiyarem" is derived from "k-y-r-m", meaning "no light".

Of course, none of that is true. They do sound like they could be based there, though.

Interesting fact. I wandered here through the main page and this caught my attention.

And of course one more hint for the third version title... if Kyurem even gets there. ¦D

Meh. I just put it there because it was bugging me for the longest time that they really did sound Hebrew or Sumerian (or some other Middle Eastern language) in origin.
