Try changing up your strategy. Are you getting killed by the town? The Mafia? A vigilante?

Whatever keeps happening, try to adapt your playstyle to make yourself a less appealing target to that group.

Or just develop some off-the-wall, convoluted strategy - like mine. I play obvious Mafia, every time. Whether I'm actually Mafia or not. Sometimes it gets me lynched, other times nobody buys it and it works splendidly.

I haven't played in ages, though, so I might not be the best example...

You caught us. We're all conspiring against you. :P

Are you doing anything to make yourself seem suspicious? Here's my strategy: don't play until your back is against the wall. It's gotten me pretty far numerous times. I've never won though, so I may need to come up with a new one :/

In didn't post much in either of those, in fact, in Star Wars mafia, I didn't post at all. xD I just find it strange and irritating. :S

I guess being a mafia would be easier.

You could try being really vocal. If you happen to suspect a mafioso in the process, they might avoid taking you out for the time being in order to avoid placing suspicion on their fellow mafioso. And if you happen to be off the mark (suspecting townies), they might keep you around in the hope you help start some mislynches.

@Tsutarja; that might be it. Sometimes mafia kill off persons who haven't done anything of relevance yet as to not give the town hints. This is commonly the case on night 1 if a no lynch has taken place beforehand.
