The BOY and the GIRL

Personally, I wasn't really fond of them at first (like the most of this fandom, anyway). But after seeing this fan art, they've begun growing on me. But I still have my complaints which I shall share with you now. What bothers me the most is the fact that they look too much like Hilbert and Hilda - I mean, even the eye color and the hair color match. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm so glad that we got new protagonists - but, couldn't we have gotten something more ... different?

Blond protagonists? (like actual blonde) Or even something like that?

Regardless of everything, I like them now.

THE RIVARU

Boy, that's some crazy hair, but I really like the design of this character. Now, I hope he turns out to be a smug a-hole kind of rival, I really miss such characters. ;_;

Other CHARACTERS

Couldn't find Shizui, sorry fangirls. :P

Everything just looks so amazing. While I'm a bit iffy about the return of old Pokémon, I welcome the changes to this gaming franchise. :D Now I must wonder whether there are any other new gym leaders left to be revealed? What happened to Cheren, to Belle? Is Akuroma really the bad guy in the story?

What will happen to the starters? New starter set or BW starters with DW abilities? :O What also changed in the last two years?

Gah, I can't wait for these games! :D

I would have liked them to be Hilbert and Hilda since it's a sequel, or perhaps they can be incorporated into the story because I would like to see them play some importance. Either as an actual character that has significant to the plot or a cameo like Red's in GSC would be fine for me.

On topic, however, I really don't have any problems with the characters... except maybe the rival. I would like if the rival ended up being a smug/jerkface/rival-rival, but it says on Bulbanews that they're childhood friends so who knows?
