I've been having a lot of trouble arranging trades lately and I hate to be rude, but it generally seems to be mostly the other person's fault. It's really getting frustrating and I'm starting to wonder if you people are just trolling me.

  1. If it says I'm online, I'm online. If you leave me a message and I'm taking a while to respond, wait. If you absolutely need to leave, send me another message telling me why. You people need to understand that BP isn't like Facebook; I don't just magically get an alert when you message me. I need to refresh the page to see it, and if I'm typing a long reply or looking something up, I might not do that for a while. Please stop logging off when I don't respond instantly without telling me you waited, because it makes you look impatient.
  2. Log off if you're not using the forums, but check your messages before you do. A lot of times when #1 happens, I will see that the person is still online when I finally get the message. So I'll send them a message, wait half an hour, and still no response. And then I'll check and notice they're no longer logged in, and they didn't bother responding to me. ಠ_ಠ Is it really that difficult to check before you leave? Especially when you know I'm online?
  3. Please quote or mention me when responding to my posts. Sometimes I get distracted or am just busy posting elsewhere on the forums; I don't have the time to sit and refresh your trade thread over and over to see if you've replied. If you quote or mention me, I will see it the instant I refresh the page, and this will minimize the possibility of me missing you.
