Hey. Sorry I haven't been on in a while, but I've been busy. One of the main things that's been on my mind is who I am.

So, here goes nothing...

Since I was four years old, I have been interested in members of both sexes. At the time I thought nothing of it, since I didn't even know what LGBT people were. Then, in middle school, before I really started thinking about sex at all, people started teasing me for being "Gay" or a "(I don't want to write down this word)". Middle school was HELL. When I hit puberty, I didn't think about anyone but girls for a few years. Then, in sophomore year, this REALLY cute guy showed up at school. This was the first time I had EVER thought about a man in a romantic way. (I had, however, been thinking how nice it would be if I were bi all throughout middle school, because then I could be with a guy. Why the hell did it take so long for me to figure it out?) I kinda dismissed it for the whole year, until the end of year trip, where we shared a tent. I also learned that he was gay. For some reason, this made me very happy. Then, when we got back, there was this guy who looked nothing like him there to welcome him back. I assumed that that was his boyfriend, and I got depressed. Anyways, after seeing him, I started getting attracted to other guys. I started reading Yaoi. And I started seriously considering the possibility that I may not be straight. I've been wrestling with this issue for about a year now for several reasons. Middle school was hell, and even though I have nothing against LGBT people, the idea that what the bullies were saying could be true was difficult. I still have a sort of mental block there. I was also conflicted because I wanted so very much for this to be true that I thought that my desire to like guys might be what's making me like guys. Finally, after looking back on my life and telling my brain to shut up, I realized WHY I wanted so desperately to like guys. BECAUSE I WAS BI. This has prompted some new questions.

First off, should I tell my friends? They're all VERY supportive of LGBT people, but I feel it might make things a little bit awkward. Also, I have no clue how I would do it. Just saying "I'm Bi." seems impossible. Then again, coming out to my parents was easy (if kinda awkward).

Anyways, I'm coming out and saying it. I'm Bi-sexual. I'm also asking for advice about what I should do about my friends. (Also, should I try asking out the guy I (still) have a crush on?) Please respond.

Most people see a group that they like, join it, then forget about. The ones that people actually do things in get updated once every 24 hours if they're lucky. While I understand that it was difficult to keep track of your social groups in VBulliten3, now that we've been updated there really isn't any excuse. I've seen plenty of sites (mangafox is a good example) where the social groups are really active, and get more attention than most of the threads here.

That is why I have I have created SGAS, the Social Group Awareness Society. This group will be dedicated to promoting social groups on this site. I would like as many people as possible to join. Here's the link:

School will be starting soon for almost everyone here, and you know what that means. It's time to make some friends! Now don't strat whining about how you already have friends, because you don't. No-one here does. I mean, if anyone here had actual friends, they wouldn't spend time on a forum dedicated to pokemon. Therefor I, Megaman, have decided to help all you hapless losers out there get friends.

You need to make a good first impression, so appearence is everything. Remember, thicker glasses make you look smarter. Get the biggest, dorkiest pair that you can find. It doesn't even matter if you wear glasses or not, get them anyways. Remember, people like casual people, so don't comb your hair. In fact, get it wet right before you go to sleep. It'll show people that you're a real devil may care sort of person. To help your image along even more, find some old clothes with stains and rips. Many rips. Rips are in right now. If you're a girl, you'll need makeup. I know that some feminists or people like that say that girls have natural beauty, but that's BS. If you aren't wearing makeup, you should have a bag over your head, ugly. Still, I understand that you're on a budget, so don't buy those designer brand makeup thingys. I have a much better plan. Snazzaroo. I assume that you've seen the commercials. It's a revolutionary face painting kit. It's got all the makeup stuff you need. Am I going to tell you how to apply it? Hell no! I've got better things to do. Figure it out yourself.

Now that I've got you looking presentable, we need to talk about introductions. Most people would tell you to just say hi. They're fools. What if you say hi, and it turns out that the person you chose was a bigger loser than you? You'd be stuck in a hopeless friendship. No, you need to walk up to every single person and inspect them carefully. You should spend at least twenty minutes on each person. Finally, after staring at every single person in your school, pick out the people who you've decided would make high quality friends. What? You say I didn't tell you how to introduce yourself. Don't worry, after doing this, everyone in school will know your name.

Now it's time to get them to accept you as a friend. Be assertive! You need to let your potential friends know that you aren't just some loser begging to be invited to their party, but that you're some loser who won't leave them alone until you get an invitation! Follow them around, but be quiet. You don't want to scare them away. After quietly watching them from a distance, insert yourself into the group. Make sure you have an opinion of EVERYTHING! Also, you should disagree with them quite a bit. People hate yes men.

Now, if you've followed my instructions, you should have some brand new, high-quality friends!*

*Disclaimer. The advice given in this blog isn't really all that good. In fact, its all one big joke! I hope that this didn't cause anyone any confusion. If you actually followed this advice, you have my pity.

Got a tan! Without going outside! I've spent most of my summer sitting by my window, and somehow I got a tan.

Experienced the WORST camping trip ever. I'll tell you about it some other time. It included getting caught in the middle of a lake in a thunderstorm, my tent flooding, and getting totally bitten up by giant mosquitoes. (and that all happened in one day)

Beaten 4 seperate megaman games.

Been bored out of my skull.
Has anyone else had an interesting summer?

I will admit to being in the wrong when I wrote an angry blog about what he did, because that was a matter on that forum and should not have been brought here. It was unprofessional of me, and I'm sorry that I did it. By doing so, Transform was given a punishment that exceeded whatever crime he may have committed. I know that some folks have been giving him a hard time, and I would like to ask you to stop. It's a matter for me and him alone. Also, I know that one person has been banned for flaming him about the incident, and I would REALLY like it for that not to happen again. Stuff like that hurts both parties involved. So please, just stop giving him a hard time for something that didn't even happen on this forum.

The title of this entry says it all. Currently, I only know of two social groups that receive semi-frequent updates. One is $aturn's fanclub, and the other is the boob group. While I'm sure that some people will comment saying "No! This social group gets updated pretty frequently!" They're missing my point. Social groups are, on the whole, a pretty spectacular failure. We all belong to at least twenty groups (Once again, I know that there are some exceptions to that rule, but in most cases it's applicable) and that seems to be the only reason for them. We see something interesting, join up, post once, then forget about it for good. The social group RPing teams, which seem to be the only really big successes for social groups, are illegal. Why are social groups such a big failure? Here is the reason why I think social groups failed

No Notifications

There isn't any way to see if there is a new post in a group without looking at it (or subscribing to email). Because of the huge number of groups most people are in, neither of these is a feasible way of seeing if anything has happened. If you tried checking each group, you would waste hours, and in you subscribed to every group, you would get such a deluge of email (assuming the groups were active) that it would take even longer to check all the groups. Now, when I say notifications I'm not actually talking about the kind you get when you are VMd. It's more along the lines of the little icon next to a thread changing to show that there are new messages in it. Hmmm, yeah, social groups would work a lot better if they were threads? Now I wonder why we don't do that? Oh wait, we did! And then we decided to close those threads in favor of social groups!

Seriously, I think we should bring the club threads back. That would not only cut down on the number of totally inconsequential social groups, It would also create social groups that people would actually use! Who agrees with me?

I also had one slot as an admin open, which I said I was going to give to the most helpful person (I wasn't going to give it to just anyone, thank god!). Then a user (He's on this site, but I'm not sure I'm gonna use his name) BANNED me & one of the people I had assigned to admin on that forum, then unbanned us and asked to be promoted to admin so he could 'find out who did it'. First off, a mod can TRY to ban an admin, but it won't work. Secondly, admins can SEE WHO BANNED WHO, so the ban log showed him doing this. So, if you are reading this and go by the username Transform, you are banned forever on Poke-Epic.

Today in school is advise day, where all the homerooms do something, except for the one I'm in. We were going to go kayaking, but it got rained out. Now I'm stuck in school with nothing to do. Most of my friends (not sure if I should put quotation marks around that word, seeing how jerky they are today) are in a different group then I am, and they brought a wii to school. I went into their group to watch, (and hopefully play some) and they all ignored me. All they said was "because you aren't in our group, you can't have any of the food." Now, I understood that, 'cause they had all chipped in to buy it and I hadn't done anything. Still, after one of them got tired of playing and asked who wanted to take his spot, I volunteered. His response was "Dude, you aren't even in our group. Go to your group." Almost half of my "friends" (I've decided that I'm mad enough at them to use quotes) said "Yeah, dude. Leave." Then, another member of my homeroom came in, grabbed a donut, and started talking to them. When I asked if I could have one, one of them said that he had given it to the kid from my group. After that most of them started ignoring me, and I finally left. Now, here I am, sitting in the computer lab on what is supposed to be a fun social day, crying. Fuck.
