I finally managed to beat Lance on my mono-grass HG playthrough.
It was brutal, absolutely brutal.
I managed to take Gyarados first with Noodles (Tangrowth). Then Charizard took Noodles, but that went down to Louie (Ludicolo) with his Surf (though he took a chunk with Air Slash first). Aero killed Louie, so Yoka (Exeggutor) came in and smashed it with Leaf Storm. Then it just got messy with the Dragonite trio. I finally did it though, after spamming max revives/revivies/full
I missed out on doing this the other day, when everyone else was joining in. So I'll just do it now, since I like making lists. #20: Zangoose
Liked it from the moment I saw it. It has fur patterns that look like battle scars, and it fights snakes. Mongoose are just generally cool anyway, so a pokemon based on them is win. It's decently strong and fast too.
So, if you saw my previous blog, I spoke about the pokemon that I liked loads when I was a little kid playing Red/Blue, that I don't really like as much now. This blog is the opposite to that. So it's about the pokemon that I either disliked or hated when I was a little kid, that I really like, or that I like much more, now.
It's another nostalgia blog! (yay) Venusaur
I liked Bulbasaur and Ivysaur

I was thinking about something the other day: when I was a kid, sat with my Gameboy, playing Red/Blue, which pokemon did I think were awesome, that I don't really think are awesome now?
Essentially what were my favourites when I was a kid that I don't like at all/don't like as much (for whatever reason) over 10 years later.
I can't really remember everything about why I liked them, I just remember either always catching and training them, thinking they looked really cool,
... sat in accident and emergency for 5 hours!
It's 5am now, so I really should get some sleep, but I'm not feeling it.
Btw, the birds are well noisy at this time.
