So I finally got Dawnguard yesterday, and you know, despite all the crazy vampire monster transformation stuff and the dawnguard faction itself, there's really only one thing that I got excited over... and that's the Huskies! The Huskies are cute and look cool. They're so much better than those shaggy muts in pre-Dawnguard Skyrim. They even have their own little leather-like jackets to protect themselves. I've taken Bran home to be my pet and protect my house with my housecarl >:I
It would be cool if there was a couple more variety of dogs aswell, but eh, what can you do, I guess the developers think two species of dogs are enough :( I suppose there's those Death Hounds aswell, but those are lil' butt ugly dudes and I won't ever use one of those as an animal follower - I'm a vampire hunter not a vampire, so the vampires can suck it. (Suck it... get it? Vampires? Suck? Oh well... I tried :p)
The crossbows are epic too. I've forever ditched my bow in favour of a crossbow now. They're a little slow reloading but they hit hard. RIP bows.
Oh and I've now turned to using Restoration spells aswell, something which I didn't want to do, but the new sun spells are pretty neat and I'll need them to stick it to the vampires and burn their asses.
I've just done the Soul Cairn part and I didn't like it because I hate those big areas like that (just like Blackreach--though Blackreach admittedly looked cool the first time I went there, whereas the Soul Cairn is just boring.) Glad I've got that over and done with
Edit: Oh and I like the armored Trolls too. Though I haven't used one yet since you can only have one animal follower at a time and I've been using the other Husky, Scheolang(?). Now we've got armored trolls give me armored sabre cats! >:|
