Wha-a-at? I have to do one of these sometime!

1) It's a healthy way to collaborate.
I'm sounding totally not like myself right now, but it is. What with groups, friends, fan clubs, etc., you get to know people and learn to work with them.

2) It's educational.
People normally say stuff like Pokémon is stupid. But this forum is anything but. I mean, really! I've seen threads discussing the biology of Pokémon, containing items my junior high biology teacher didn't know! I've seen current events and discussion that was more intense than an English Socratic Seminar! It is educational!

3) It's well organized.
We have people like Evil Figment and evkl (but with all the people who work to keep this forum going, I can't name them all) who devote a large amount of their time to keep this forum running. Their dedicated and they keep everything on the forum running well. For lack of a hands clapping emoticon,

4) You learn how to discuss.
Honestly, I've seen people on this forum discussing honestly and logically, which is really what society needs these days. I can't tell you how awesome it feels when I see that sort of stuff, because it is one of Bulbagarden's huge values.

5) It's a very friendly environment.
Going on most other forums, Pokémon and non Pokémon, I inevitably get intimidated by all the hardcore people there. We have our hardcores, true, but it's still a very friendly and open place. Which leads me to...

6) There's always someone who'll listen.
I think I mentioned this early. A while back. But it's worth saying again. Bulbagarden's the kind of place where if you have a problem, people listen and try to help you. There's always an ear and a ready hand to help you out, even when some of us are separated over thousands of miles. Now that's boss.

7) There isn't much fighting.
OK, we're not troll-free. But for the most part, I don't see a complete ANARCHY like some other forums. I see a place where people will abide by the rules and talk reasonably.

8) We're very diverse.
Anime+Video Games+Fanfiction+A ton of other stuff! Need I say more?

9) There aren't any us versus them situations.
A lot of other forums I've been to have us vs them issues. Whether it's staff vs citizens, Cilan vs Cilli, whatever, there are such cases. Not so here. Here, we're all collaborating.

10) It's about POKÉMON!!!!
