I have started a group for support of charizard learning hurricane.

Volcarona and Dragonite can learn hurricane why not Charizard. I general they are WAY to conservitive with Hurricane come on Game freak be cool. I think we will get eventually but damn it's making me mad.

What about Volt Switch? It works as a special-based U-Turn, and it suits flyers like Charizard.

IMO, Volt Switch doesn't make sense on a Charizard. Why could Charizard have an Electric move like that?

It really needs something to cover against water types. Solarbeam is proven to be worthless because it wastes two turns, allowing your opponent to easily switch to a Pokemon that resists grass moves. Plus fire types are glass cannons, which means they can't survive a STAB move, especially a SE move. It's either Volt Switch or Energy Ball, which everyone fully bashed me for that idea.

@Ghetsis-Dennis I don't see why a Flying Lizard-Dragon would be able to use an Electric Move like Volt Switch, doesn't make any sense.

Hurricane for Charizard? Eh, I'm not sure. I'm not really a Charizard super fan or a nostalgia type person. I could see it with Hurricane though, I'm not sure though. Swanna, Dragonite, and Volcarona all have it and they all have large strong wings so why not? But, then again Hurricane needs Rain to have perfect accuracy and Charizard thrives more in the sun then rain.

@Gumdramon And I don't see why a Water/Dark lobster would be able to use Dragon Dance despite not being a reptile.

Except it doesn't make sense on Charizard in the slightest. Dragon Dance is just a mode of powering up a Pokemon. Charizard can't even use Electricity, or any electric moves. Makes zero sense for it get Volt Switch. U-Turn seems more likely, but I can't see why it would get Volt Switch.

Volt switch on charizard would be horrible with its stealth rock weakness.

You do realize that Hurricane is only worth having on a rain team right?

Charizard on a rain team. Yeah, do tell me how that turns out.
