So, as many of you have probably figured out, I'm not very active here anymore. Now that school has started and I'm student directing our school's one act play, I will be booked. Of course, i havent been on here in a while anyways, but still, now I have an excuse.

so, my friends are having me take care of their birds, and they're chirping quite loudly. They are two parakeets and they're kinda cute. I'm also taking care of 3 guinea pigs, a leopard gecko and a fish. its been fun :D

anyone find it a LITTLE bit stupid that my
parents wont let me get netflix on my wii because they cant control
whether or not I watch R movies? Yes dad. I'm going to watch pornos on
an account that is owned by my girlfriend. Little boy's growin up,
get freaking used to it. In a month or two, I'm legally allowed to
watch them anyways, so its not like I have long to wait. Cant wait to get away from the dictators.

ok seriously, who the F*CK steals a pair of sandals. I ski on a show ski team called the Aquaducks (aquaducks.org for those of you who want to know what show skiing is), and while I was skiing in the show, someone stole my sandals which were sitting by the rest of my stuff by the bleachers. I mean really, if we're at the point in humanity where people have to jack sandals off of each other, just kill me now.

*sighs* Well, today is here, tomorrow is gone... If only I knew what day it was. Seriously, every day is starting to run together. I havent done much this summer. And what I have done mostly contains video games, making me feel even more lethargic and lazy. I feel like I should be doing something, but I also just dont wanna. I wish summer vacation was winter vacation instead. I love the cold and snow more than heat and beaches.

So, I really havent wanted to be in Aquaducks (My show ski team) at all this year, but people begged me to join because they "needed me". I joined, and they were happy to have me for a while, but now I've just faded into the background. They dont need me at all. I wasnt even going to be in final pyramid last week, which is what they "needed" me back for. Plus, our new boat drivers have been EXTREMELY rude to me, one of them yelled at me and almost hit me with the boat because I was in his way when we were putting out the jump. This team was fun, but now its just stupid and I want out. It's the biggest waste of 10 hours a week in the blistering sun.:boom:

So, I got myself a GPX account today, and I'm amazed at how smooth and simple it is. Someone was a master programmer... Really addicted to it :P now I feel silly, because about a year ago, I thought pokemon was stupid, look at me now :P

Tonight, I have Aquaduck practice, but I get to leave early! Why, you might ask? I'm going to see Weird Al at Summerfest! Yes, my parents are going, and I'm sure all of you are like, "oh, thats so lame!" But whatever. They're the only ones who know how to get there, and I like that we have a common interest. Plus, my girlfriend is going, and two of my friends are meeting us there as well. Tonight is just going to be... Weird!

Legend of ACT

Also, I just started playing Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks, and I love it! It brings back so many classic things from Ocarina in new and fun ways! Mainly the flute and all the music puzzles, but yeah... I loves it :D

(This is my letter of resignation to Alpine Valley, trust me, it's a good read)

Let me just say that what I went through last night was utter Hell, and not just for the concert goers. There was a lot of messed up things with the staff as well.

First off, when I got there, I had no CLUE where to go, as no one told me. I ended up standing in the line where security was getting their shirts for about a half hour, then I finally realized that everyone else was going inside, and no one bothered to tell me I was in the wrong place. Now that's excusable, no one knew my name, so how could they tell me I was in the wrong place? Still, if instructions had been clearer, I might not have gotten lost.

Secondly, when I went down into your "worker's lounge", more than half of them were smoking. How unprofessional is that?! I felt like I was the only one there who'd never smoked or drank in his/her life. So half your staff was as high as the audience was drunk... great...

Now we get to the concert goers (We'll get back to other staff later.) I had beer spilled on me. I had beer purposefully thrown at me, the worker next to me got sexually assaulted by a woman trying to get closer, and oh yeah, someone threatened to kill me because I wanted to check his ticket. He literally said "I'll kill all you mother f****rs" What I went through was NOT worth 8 25 an hour to me.

The staff was horrible during the concert too, the guy next to me saw a woman drop 61 bucks, waited for her to leave, and took it. Everyone else congratulated him. I would've told the woman if I'd have known it was in his power to give it back. I just thought he found it. Also, we told security about the guy who threatened to kill me. They followed him for maybe a few rows, then when he went into a row, gave up. He should've been kicked from the concert! That is NOT something people should even joke about, (and by the way, he looked serious) and it's also something that security shouldn't ignore. I could have been KILLED... get it through your heads over there alpine valley, K-I-L-L-E-D. How would you have felt then? Would you have pretended to care and then gone back to your drugs and drinks? I think so.

Also, after the concert was the big clean. Not a big deal. I get handed a garbage bag and go on. First of all, I was doing my own bag. I saw lots of other people working together on one bag, not filling it all the way, then sitting around doing nothing. I filled a bag, then asked about 6 people what I should do now. They all said I dont know. I then figured 'okay, I did a bag, I guess that means I'm free to go now.' I know there was a post show meeting, but I figured it was already going, and that I had missed most of it anyways. I then went upstairs to check out. I handed in my flashlight and then was about to check out when some older crabby lady sitting there said "You're an usher? You check out now you're fired!" In one of the meanest, downright bitchiest voices I'd ever heard. Sorry for swearing, but that's the only word I can use to describe it. I tried telling her that I didn't know what else to do, and she was like, "Whatever, find someone to tell you what to do." Well thanks lady, you in your position of power sitting on your butt all night checking people in gives you the power to yell at workers who are simply confused? NO! In a position of power, you should at least pretend to care, even though we all know you don't. If you're someone's boss, you should do something to deserve the respect that you want to be given. Being a boss doesn't mean you can be bossy, being a boss means you can be responsible and that you've worked hard to earn your position and are still working hard. I'm sorry, but I saw none of that last night at Jimmy Buffet.

I really hope this gets to some head honcho because this needs to be fixed. Otherwise, all your workers will be high or drunk and not know how to respond to a delicate situation, someone could get hurt, or worse, killed.

Now If you'll please notice, I've been very polite and courteous throughout this entire message. You may think I sounded mean, but all I was doing was listing the problems I saw and experienced. Needless to say, effective immediately, I quit. And now that I've been courteous throughout this entire message, even though I wanted to swear my face off at you, I have one last, yet rather unpleasant thing to say, but I think I've earned it.

So, tonight's my first night at Alpine Valley (as a worker, not a concert goer) and I'm really not lookin forward to it. People are going to be high and drunk and I've never dealt with people like that before. I personally hate drunk/high people because they act stupid and its their own damn fault. I'll be lucky if I dont punch someone. Of course then I'm fired. Ugh... tonight will suck
