Well, I lost. Guess I really underestimated Wattson. In the museum, Nyota's Rollout defeated the first Aqua Grunt, but the second killed her, as Rollout meant I couldn't switch her out. After catching a Gulpin I nicknamed Blobmans to take her place on my team, I headed to Mauville. Unfortunatly, the battle with Sapphire on the way there killed Blobmans, Pietepiet, and Wurmpie. Wurmpie died because it was first in my party, and I figured since it was a few levels higher than Sapphire's Wingull, it would win even though it was up against a Flying type. Think again, as a single Wing Attack defeated it. Pietepiet died when I put it up against Combusken (This time paying attention to type advantages) and got critical hitted by an Ember. And Blobmans died against Lombre from a Swift (From Nature Power).
Once I reached Mauville, I released my dead pokemon and took the last three pokemon in my box to replace them. However, even though I trained them up to level 18 like the rest of my party, I was no match for Wattson, who easily defeated me.
