The tree is finally off of the wires, and power has finally been restored. So now, we just have to deal with the predicted low of 50 degrees tonight, and we'll be just fine. :D

Irene is gone, and the sunrise is visible today. But...there's a problem.

WE STILL DON'T HAVE FRICKEN POWER!

Yeah. That's right. Nearly 24 hours have passed since that stupid tree took down the power line. And guess what? Apparently, our power won't be restored until some time this afternoon. The estimate they gave us was 12:30 PM, but...they're not always completely accurate with those.

Ugh.

Hurricane---excuse me, Tropical Storm---Irene...hit early this morning. We were doing just fine until about 10:15, when a tree across the street fell and took out the power. Somehow, we still have Internet, and with both of the computers hooked up to a gas generator, I'm still able to be online. The TV and refrigerator are also hooked up to the generator, so we still have food and entertainment. Besides the lack of power in half the house, we're doing just fine right now.

I have gotten so many happy-birthday wishes, there's no way I'll be able to thank you all individually x_x So because I'm lazy, I will just thank everyone at the same time. Specifically:
