Finally finished my Pokemon Crystal case for Art Tech

We were doing a sort of final for Art Tech where we could re-create a video game or CD case. I was pretty undecided on what I wanted to do, all I knew is that I wanted to do a video game :U

I was gonna do Assassin's Creed III at first, but tbh that's already some awesome box art. My next thought was Skyrim...until I saw that like 10 other people were doing it. So I ended up deciding to Crystal, because I don't think anyone else was doing any older games, and Suicune has some nice artwork out there.

This was the result...and it took too long, lol. We had to keep everything intact, including logos, screenshots, etc. Didn't take too long to ind a picture of Crystal's back so I could right down the stuff on the back, but getting the "Only For" logo and the Printer/Infrared/Link Cable boxes then cleaning them up took too long. I could of just copypasta'd them, but those pixels were bleugh.

And as a little side note...I'll start that project I talked about in my last blog tomorrow. I was tired and lazy and worked on this all day.

I'm gonna draw every revealed pokemon from now until XY release...

So yay for drawing everything as little girls! Even if they're genderless/male only!

I'll start tomorrow, expect some bad anatomy and poor quality pictures taken with a Vita cuz my scanner got broked.

I know, we weren't promised anything at any point, but hanging out on Gamefaqs and /vp/ got me so hyped. I had my hopes kept low, but they just kept on bringing them back up! To just wait hours and then Masuda say "looks guys, stuff you know!" was heart breaking.

You can't do this to me Masuda, pls. Never again ;-;

So note to self: stay off of the computer for the day of Smash, then tune in the next day to see what went down.

Oh, this also means more "sylveon type sylveon type". I'm so done. It's slowly become my least favorite Eeveelution because of the dumb arguments and rage it's caused. Get out Sylveon. Just go.

Maybe I'll do a good old fashioned nuzlocke sometime

I might even finally go rebuy White or Black 2 to do it, I don't really feel like derping around on my original BW.

Despite what PJ said, I still see many people saying a lot of contradicting things about the types shown (ice was actually resisted, they tested a fighting move on her, etc etc) and then I'm seeing people say that it was simply a skit and had no significance.

Now that I've had it for like, ages, I think it's finally time to evolve it. I'm just not sure what it should evolve into. As far as choices go, preferably not Espeon, Leafeon, or Glaceon since I have them already. Unless you have a good reason for why I should evolve it into them.

I've been wanting to do a somewhat odd playthrough in one of my pokemon games, and I think I've finally decided on doing an "all-turtle" run. Sadly I'm gonna have to buy White or Black 2 again, because I don't wanna erase my White or Black. Anyways, my team will consist of this:

Squirtle
Turtwig
Shuckle
Tirtouga
Torkoal
Geodude

For starters, I don't have to worry, but for ones like Shuckle and Titouga, I'll breed them so that my whole team will be lv. 5. Gonna involve a lot of trading between my games...but I can do it! For the turtles!

To start things off, dis cake. I haven't ate any yet, but it's getting tempting.

Also, things are going great so far! Got $100 from my parents, and then me, them, and my grandma went out to eat at Olga's Kitchen, their food is soooo good. I got a three cheese angus steak burger. All their burgers and sandwiches are in pita bread, so it was like a whole steak wrapped in it :D

Right now my friends are about to come over, so I wanna say thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! It's going great so far!
I'll end this with a celebratory picture!

Alright, I'll make my "no changing avatar/signature" challenge a tad easier.

Instead of picking one picture and having to keep it the whole year, I'm gonna pick one theme that I have to keep all year. Still gonna be able to change my pictures, it just has to be of the same thing (this includes le holidays). So in this case, I've decided on Ingo and Emmett, because I have 50 or so pictures of them just hanging around. Gonna change my blog theme too, cause why not?

Oh, I also have a special goal to not change my avatar or signature all year (except for holidays). Gonna put it into effect next week so I can make something real good, but this should be challenging.

Halloween stuff

Short blog, nothing much. I got a bit under half a pillow case of candy. Also was lazy with my pumpkins this year, since my carving thing broke, so I was stuck using a normal knife. I just (poorly) did a Creeper face and a Slime face.

I went trick or treating with my friend, who was dressed as a cow. I was Miku, and had to stop every 5 minutes to pull my shoes up >_>
Never mind my derpy face, the lens on the vita is off to the side, which leads to weird expressions :P)

...uhm yeah, that's it. Also, tomorrow I'm gonna do a 5-day series of my top 10 favorite things so that should be fun.

Because I'm bored and I need to get in the shower like now. So here we go.

1. Shuckle

Shuckle has to be the cutest thing ever. I remember first getting one in Silver. I almost always have one in all of games. Even if I don't use it to battle, I love using them in contests <3
2. Meganium

Meganium has always been my favorite grass starter. I even beat Silver before with her only. I've kept the same Meganium since I evolved my Chikorita in Emerald, but I still have my Chika on my Silver.
3. Mew

Easily my favorite event legendary, it's so cute! I would always use the Mew glitch in RBY just to get one to use.
4. Tropius

I never did catch a Tropius in RSE, but I was so happy when I finally got one in Diamond. I love it's design, with leaf wings and banana beard.
5. Jigglypuff

The second pokemon I ever owned in Blue, and I used it all the way up to the E4. Adorable and strong~
6. Mareep

Sometimes I won't even evolve my Mareep. It's so cute and fluffy, the it ends up as some yellow thing. Of course, I end up evolving it when I use it for battle, but I have another Mareep I use just for Musicals.
7. Eevee

I really like Eevee and all of it's evolutions. I'll spend at least an hour trying to get a female Eevee so I can breed it and get the others. I love them all!
8. Scrafty

A lizard with a mohawk that sags it's pants. It reminds me of half the guys at my school lol. Best thing ever. And it's dark/fighting? Yus yus yus.
9. Milotic

I've only ever owned one in Ruby, which I don't have the file for anymore. Hard to get, but once you get one it's amazing. I'm still trying to get another one...
10. Azurill

I'm not a fan of the line, but Azurill is just too cute. I never evolve it. Another one of my Musical-only pokemon, but I use her for fight every now and then :D
