Yesterday night, I watched Grave of the Fireflies(earlier that day I went to see Secret World of Arriety in theaters!). I knew about this film for about 2 years, but I really didn't want to watch it at the time, because I heard that it's a dark, sad and depressing movie and I didn't think I would fully understand it. I finally decided to watch it, despite how scared I was. I didn't know what to expect, besides people dying and I knew I would be crying SO MUCH. I finally gathered up the courage to watch it.

After it ended, I was just devastated, shocked. I cried about 3 times and just kept crying at the end. The saddest movie I have ever seen. It was about 11:30pm when it ended and I was tired from crying so much, so i went to bed(well, at least tried to). I couldn't get the movie out of my mind and I was still uspet. So many disturbing things happened and I couldn't forget them. I still can't!!! :'( I barely got any sleep and my eyes felt puffy.

Grave of the Fireflies is one of the best movies I have ever seen and made me cry the most. It's going to be hard convincing some people to watch it, some of my friends(and basically almost everyone in my grade, besides my best friends) think anime is for kids and they probably wouldn't take this movie seriously, even if I told them how depressing it is. To the people who are reading this, what did you think, or if you didn't watch it yet, do you you think you will? :)
