I'm not talking about X or Y. The games are far too close, I've stayed completely spoiler free and ignorant of rumors and leaks. So, today, instead of discussing whatever, we'll chat about the National Novel Writing Month. This November, I'll be taking the 30 day plunge to write a 50,000 word novel! I'm doing it for fun, but I'm taking this opportunity to dive into some deep, ongoing Pokemon fan fiction and really just write my ass off. In this case, I am writing Pocket Monsters. A culmination of all my efforts recently to produce solid, worthwhile Pokefiction. I'm working on the outline right now, since you're not suppose to actually start writing until midnight on November first. I have a pretty detailed plan, though.

So I'm excited, and it'll net me a free copy of Scrivener if I'm successful.

Good luck! I'll be glad to read it sometime, hopefully you don't get too sidetracked when X and Y are released :P

Thank you very much. I intend to cram a lot of writing, and my goal is to post the fiction here. Probably chapters on a daily basis depending on how quickly I turn them out. Anyway, my wife tells me the same thing. But November 1st is a while away! lol

I've done Nanowrimo since 2007. That's six stories, each over 50,000 words. 2010 and 2012 were Poke-themed novels.

Protip: Don't expect quality. Just get it WRITTEN first. You can work on quality later.
