Gaming: From Me, To You

Nintendo. They used to be the juggernaut of the entire franchise, renowned for the games they make, and easily one of the most successful gaming companies out there.

However, I have noticed something. They're starting to fall under. they're being shown up by various other companies and franchises. Their games use gimmicks to the point where, if you can't utilize the gimmicks, you can't play the games. And the games that they've been making nowadays are outclassed by other, more ...

Specifically? I have $200 able to spend that I'm not sure what to do with.

Now, I have a few vague ideas for what to get with it. Namely, various games/peripherals. I am a gamer, after all.

Problem is, there's way too many to choose from, and I can't help but think that I'll end up missing out on some really good ones.

So, that's where you guys come in.

Give me some ideas. I really need to know what I'm getting before I get it.

Xbox 360

When we first got our Xbox 360, back before I had even heard of this site, it broke down not even 20 minutes after we booted the thing up, refusing to even turn on, no matter what we tried to do.

Come 2010, we actually got around to (supposedly) fixing the thing, only to find that creating a new Gamer Account would make the system black-screen.
