Two days remaining...

So, IGN's video review has me pretty pumped. It also pointed out another change that has been happening bit by bit over the years: graphics. They changed very little between Gen I and II, but were overhauled, as we all know, in Gen III. Now, Gen III has, essentially, been the platform. Gen IV and V both built off of the standard set by Gen III. With the 3DS quickly replacing the old DS, it looks more and more like the next generation of Pokémon will be rendered entirely in 3D, as opposed to the half-and-half style of Gen IV and V.

Personally, I like that idea. Imagine, for a moment, that the new region's Pokémon League is on the top of a mountain. That mountain would be entirely 3D. I really like that.

So, once again, Bulbagardeners, I turn the mic over to you. How do you feel about the increasing presence of 3D graphics in the Pokémon core games?

3D killed my family and I personally don't agree with it.

The 3D-2D hybrid we have in BW is pretty satisfactory to me. Honestly, I don't know what I'd think of a fully-3D main series game...

I like the 2D anime style of the current games. It's just my preference. The humans have such a nice design, I'm afraid that most 3D would ruin their looks and the Pokemon would look like they came from a console game.

Maybe it's because we're all used to seeing them that way.

Personally, I welcome it. It will be good for the series.
