So, X and Y. Not sure what to think of the names, but HOLY CRAP YOU GUYS 3D.

I'm at a loss as to which starter I'll be choosing, but I'm sure I'll come to favor one of them. Right now, I think Froakie is my least favorite, but I don't dislike it. I probably favor Fennekin right now, but I think Chespin is pretty cool.

Obligatory New Year's Eve blog, since I didn't do a Christmas one.

First off, I'd like to thank everyone who has put so much work, so much of their own time and effort into making this site such a comprehensive, user-friendly, and all-around nice place. I can count the forums I've frequented consistently for so long on one hand. It's a very rare thing indeed when a community this large manages to stay so friendly and close-knit.

See, I live in Texas, and it was in the '80s (Farenheight) practically all last week. It started raining on and off late last night, and then the thunderstorms began around 5:00 this morning. There was a little hail, but nothing damaging as far as I know.

And then my dad woke up to take a heartburn pill at 6. My little brothers took this as their cue. @_@ Two years ago, they got everyone up at 4:45.
