  1. How Do I Write?

    by , 10th September 2011 at 10:06 AM
Hello! Apparently people do read this!

So anyways: How do I write? Or more specifically: How do I write for the URPG?

There are many ways to create a story, but this is my favorite way.

It all starts with an idea, like any other story. Let's take The Golden Skin for instance [/Shameless Plug]. There are spoilers so read it if you want to get the full experience that I was trying to convey.

It all started with the concept of a shiny ...
  2. How Do I Grade Part 2

This time I'm going to go through each section that appears in my grade. My grade usually follows this format:

What kind of picture did you paint with your words.

What your high school english teacher would point out.

    Length: ...

This really pissed me off. It makes it seem like the stories ...

    No more priority.

Ever since I've seen the amount of ungraded/unclaimed stories dwindle to single digits, I've noticed that it didn't matter when it was claimed, as long as it was. And it seemed that other graders again didn't claim oldest to newest, ...
  5. How do I determine which story to grade

    by , 19th September 2010 at 09:08 AM
How I determine which story I claim is dependent on how old a story is. The oldest story gets priority. Plain and Simple. Those who have made the effort to post a story and complete it should have the first dibs on completing a story. I can't tell you how many times I've pulled out my hair when I saw a a story being graded that had only been waiting two weeks when there have been stories that have been waiting 2 MONTHS. There was even one time that I saw a grade that was 2 hours, yes 2 HOURS,
