Is the 3DS worth getting right now, or waiting?

I'm curious cause I know I want one at some point, but I dunno if I should now or wait. I have like $450 in the bank (in a normal account. I have a savings one where I'm saving up money for the future too), and no bills to worry about atm. I live at home, so I generally get by on $50 a week between cabs, and food at work (this doesn't include spending money when going out with friends, which doesn't happen much now since I work til like 9 at night a lot, and am too tired to do anything after work)

So I'm wondering if you guys think it's worth buying now, or waiting a few more paychecks first.

    I'd say wait. You don't want to buy it and then need the money afterwards. Are there any games that you're really interested in now?

    If your luck in finding old games is any similar to mine, I say go for the impulse and start collectoring now. Otherwise, wait.

    I don't really need the money. I have two accounts like I said, one is an account for me, and the other is a savings where I keep money for stuff I know I'd need. It's money for the future yes, but if I need money for something serious I'd take from it, and replenish said money the next check/checks. I divide money evenly between checks, so. The only thing I'll really need money for is to add in some money when buying my mom a dog as a birthday gift, and that isn't until August. I need a new phone at some point too, so I don't know if I was gonna get this first, or an iphone.

    I have somewhat okay luck in finding old games. There are times when I need to order on the internet, but there are times when I can go into a Gamestop and be lucky, and find a game. Either way though thanks for the input guys.
