I've been allowed some animals of my very own, other than the family's two lovely cats and shared childhood pets!

Originally I was allowed one Chinese hamster, but as there were just two sisters left huddled together when we went to the store today, my mother went "no, we can't leave one alone, I'll get you both" and now I've two! They are called Mocha and Latte and they are the sweetest little hamsters I have ever petted.

They're just so cute and soft and they don't mind being petted already and I even managed to pick Latte up (albeit to coax her out of the cold box and into her warm bedding with her sister) and they took carrot sticks from my hand and and and they make me so happy that I could squee every time I see them and
