What Is This I Don't Even...

So, here we are with yet another post. Man I should really do these more often, but half the time I either forget or don't have the time. *Gives candy to distract everyone form how long it's been since she posted last.* Anyways, today's post is mainly just a quick update on what's been going down the past several weeks. Nothing really special, but meh, I feel like sharing all this irrelevant stuff JUST BECAUSE I CAN. *Cackles maniacally and rubs her hands together.*

First of all, after years of missing Gen4, I have recently come into the possession of a used copy of Pokemon Pearl. I REALLY REALLY wanted Platinum, but it was proving difficult to find. Wal*Mart didn't have it (which irritated me because that specific store usually has it, but of course THAT day they didn't -_-), and the used game store we went to had everything BUT Plat (several copies of Pearl and Diamond, White, Black, Crystal, Silver, Gold, HeartGold, SoulSilver, Yellow iirc, FireRed, a few Ranger and Mystery Dungeon games...). I didn't feel like running all the way to a GameStop to see if they had a copy, so I just ended up buying a used Pearl for 15 bucks. Even though I wanted Plat, I'm still happy with Pearl. Currently I am about to head to the Spear Pillar to witness Cyrus' dumb ass drag Palkia into the physical world, and I have a spiffy team of level 43-44 Mon consisting of Alakazam, Toreterra, Luxray, Floatzel, Lucario, and Staraptor. I'm eagerly awaiting finishing the main game because for some bizarre reason, I REALLY FREAKING WANT TO CHAIN STUFF.

*Insert random pause here to mention the change in font that people most likely didn't even notice until it was pointed out here.*

Next up, remember that post WAY BACK IN THE PAST when I mentioned I was getting tired of TP? Yeah, it's gotten worse. So I recently put in an application for Dish Network (which took like 2 1/2 FREAKING HOURS TO FINISH BECAUSE OF LIKE 350 QUESTIONS AND SEVERAL SIMULATIONS ON TOP OF THE NORMAL APPLICATION ITSELF) and have an interview set up for this Thursday from 11-2. WISH ME LUCK. They start @ 12/hr and you get a free satellite and programming when you work for them :D.

We also recently took in a stray cat we've been feeding for the past few months. He was stuck on the roof of one of the apartments next to ours, and had been up there for at least two days. I'd tried calling so many different places and none of them could help me, so at one point I was trying to get him down when one of the neighbors randomly starts trying to help. It eventually came down to him calling the fire department and begging them to come help get him down (I'd called them already and been told they "don't do that", and he'd called earlier that day and been laughed at :/). They finally sent out a truck, got him down, and since then we've been keeping him inside. We're certain someone put him up there and that it's happened before, as he went missing for several days in the past and when he started showing up again, he was very skinny and emaciated (well, he's already scrawny to start with; when he first started coming around I was honestly confused as to how he could be alive because of how starved and small he was, but he'd been putting on weight and filling out from us feeding him). We already have two cats and our apartment only allows 2 pets max, but we're afraid someone might try to put him on the roof again or do something else to him (he's very friendly and affectionate and goes up to strangers without a second thought), so we're keeping him inside until we can find a home for him.

Uh I think that's about it for the time being. I'm sure something else will pop up that I'll need to share with all you random unknown people, and if not, well, I can always cause some form of destruction and post like it happened naturally. So if I post gushing over some major fire or the fact that one of the apartment buildings magically froze into a giant block of ice, you should probably assume it happened naturally and I DIDN'T have anything to do with it :D.
