Sooooo...I should be asleep right now, but I've been writing a Pokemon creepypasta, and I REALLY wanna work on it because it's gotten to a good creepy part. At the same time I'm so tired I can barely see straight and I should be working on an application for UPS anyways, and on top of that I wanna install a Youtube downloader so I can save the first six Rock Musical Bleach plays to my computer. Bah, cursed mortal body demanding sleep...
ANYWAYS, this post shall be deadicated (cwutididthar?) to the various Pokemon creepypasta that I adore, despite the fact that a few have given me nightmares :D.
First on the list is my favorite, Lost Silver. There are videos on Youtube depicting programs people have made based off this particular brand of pasta. Basically the story tells of a player getting a copy of Silver and finding they're stuck in the Sprout Tower with no way to leave. In their party they have five Unown spelling out "LEAVE" and a Cyndaquil named Hurry. Things get worse for this player as Hurry dies, the player sprite loses limbs (and eventually his head lol), and a half-Celebi uses Perish Song to kill itself and an opponent's Pikachu. Really though, you need to read the whole story or watch one of the Youtube videos for the full effect; more happens than what I've described and the story gets creepier as it goes on.
Next up is Pokemon Black. This has nothing to do with the actual Pokemon Black game that was released with Pokemon White, but instead tells a tale of a hacked Red game cart that was black in color and, iirc, named Pokemon Black. This one goes over the fact that you get a Ghost at the start of the game named, originally enough, Ghost. You can't get rid of Ghost, and it only knows one move: Curse. As you play through the game, Ghost can use Curse, but it doesn't work like normal...eventually, at the end of the game you're confronted with the numerous people and Pokemon you've Cursed, and as an old man you yourself must eventually face Ghost. I know it sounds tame here, but I'm trying not to ruin too much of it. This one gave me some serious chills as I read it and was the first creepypasta I read, Pokemon or otherwise.
Next on our list is Lavender Town Tune, aka Lavender Town Syndrome. This is kind of a two-part story; one part features what looks like a realistic news report of some kind explaining this haunting phenomena while the second part is a traditional pasta about messed-up games. The report is, imo, MUCH creepier than the actual pasta; in it, it explains the science behind why the original Lavender Town music drove young children to suicide as well as explaining several visual parts about Lavender Town, including frames in the Ghost animations that were pictures of screaming faces and dead bodies. The pasta itself isn't very creepy, but the "news article" about it is very creepy. Even worse, there's proof that the original music in the first release Wave of Red and Green in Japan was toned down for future releases because of an effect the music had on children listening to it w/ headphones. Meh, you'll just have to read it and then you'll understand.
Another one that I just found today is Blue Tears. Most of this one isn't too bad, but at the end it really hits you, or at least it did me. Has to do with Blue wanting revenge on you for the various griefs in his life, including the death of his beloved Raticate.
There are other pastas I feel I should mention even though they aren't Pokemon ones; Squidward's Suicide is one of the most disturbing things I've read and really the only one that, in my opinion, deserves mention in a post reserved for Pokemon pastas. I think I'll go so far as to grab a link for it as well as the others ^^.
So enjoy not sleeping tonight, especially if you decide to hunt down pictures related to these pastas and others. And I'll post links to these stories later, I've GOT to go to bed before I pass out >>.
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"And I thought the picture of Squidward killing Patrick was freaky..."
