So, Happy New Year everyone. Hope you're all in better shape than I am.

Now, my nerd friend tells me before the break, "Hey, I head of an upcoming Pokémon tournament and it's doubles. You and me?" And I stare at him with a blank face that just screams, "You have asked me to do something and I am still processing whether or not my abilities match what the activity demands."

I taught this guy everything there is to know about Pokémon. I'm pretty much the local know-it-all when it comes to this. However, I can't for the life of me fight in wi-fi battles, I suck spectacularly. And it isn't because I'm bad, oh no. I strategize like a champ. I'm just so lazy I get tired playing a video game. I put hours of time into an RPG for children but the whole point of the games in the first place, to battle with other people who are real and not pixellated, completely eludes me. I could EV train and IV breed if I had the dedication, as I know how to do both. Strategy has always been my thing. But I can't commit to the thing that I do when I can't commit to other things. That is how pathetic I am.
