i posted this on the help forum but (hopefully) i'll get more replies on here. i'd really like an answer, people, i hate being ignored.

alright well i've been trying for the past few minutes to get a gif i found to work as my avatar on here. the original file was too big so i had to resize it in gimp 2.6. PLEASE NOTE, YES, I DID SAVE IT AS AN ANIMATION, still for some reason every time i try to upload it, it only uploads one frame.

i've also tried to upload it on image hosting sites such as my photobucket and then copy pasting the url but for some reason every time i do it says "invalid file". i don't know what this means, and i've tried other image hosting sites such as imageshack but it says the same thing.

i'd really like some help on this. i don't know if i'm doing something wrong, or if it's just a bug in the system.

thank you.

never mind, the file is still too big that's why. i guess a still frame is fine.

    Try this site.
Did you save the file as .bmp? I don't think Bulbavatars accept it. .gif would be the way to go.
